"What?"
"I said neither, I published the video."
"What? Why would you do that?"
"The fans love it, and I told Zach all about your little plan. So if you don't mind me, I'm just gonna go back in the car with Corbyn. You have been beaten at your own game pal." I said waving to him and getting out of the car while he sat there speechless.
I walked over to the car where Corbyn was and jumped in.
"Did he buy it?" He said
"Every last word. How can someone be that gullible?"
"I have no idea, he even believed you posted the video?"
"Yep, let's go home now."
"Yeah."
We got home and Zach said:
"Did it work?"
"Sure did."
"Yes!"
"I know right, finally got him off my trail."
"Why dont we go on a date tonight to celebrate?"
"Can't"
"What? Why?"
"Two things, one, I have school tomorrow, two, I'm going out with Daniel tonight."
"Where?"
"Anna, and our parents are in town."
"Oh ok."
"I'm sorry Herron, how about we cuddle and watch a movie tonight after."
"That sounds perfect."
"Mhm, see you later love."
"See you later." He said as I walked down the stairs
I got ready and went upstairs to get Daniel.
I knocked on his door and he came out.
"Ready to go brotha?"
"Yep" He said chuckling as we made our way to the car and the to the grove.
We met up at a restaurant and saw them sitting in a booth. They got up and hugged us.
"How's my favorite sister doing?" Anna said hugging me
"Pretty good, hows my favorite sister doing?"
"Good"
I went and hugged Keri and Jeff.
"Hey sweetie how've you been?" Jeff asked
"Pretty good, how about yourself?"
"Can't complain."
"How have you been Keri?"
"Great, hows college been?"
"Pretty good, I have actually found out I'm pretty good at animation."
"That's awesome." Keri said
"So Daniel, have any secret music you can tell your favorite sister about?" Anna asked Daniel leaning her head on his shoulder
"I already told Gracie though." He said smirking
"Haha very funny, now spill." She said punching his arm
"Can't."
"What? Why?"
"Because, don't want to spoil the surprise. We don't even tell Gracie, and she lives with us."
"It's true, it's annoying, but I try to sneak around their rooms and studio, they are good at hiding."
"We are, especially from you." He said winking at me
We ate and started walking around the shops.
"Oh I forgot, Zach gave me this to give to you." Daniel said handing me a envelope
I opened it and there was a note that said:
"Buy yourself something pretty baby, and don't think twice, I love you so much
- Herron"
I smiled at the note and pulled out the money. $500!! My eyes got big and Anna ran over to me and took the note out of my hand.
"Aww this is so cute, how much did he give you?"
"$500." I said
"Woah, he must really love you."
"Y-Yeah" I said still speechless
"Oooo let's go in here!" Anna said pulling me into a little boutique
We looked at all the dresses and rompers and I saw one I absolutely fell in love with. It was a medium shade of blue and it was off the shoulder. It also had skinny white stripes go vertical. I checked the price tag and it said: $50
Not that bad for an expensive boutique, I took it up to the register and saw a younger girl about 16 behind the counter. I walk up to her and give her the romper, I go in my purse to get my wallet. The girl clicked her phone to check the time. I saw her lock screen and it was a picture of Daniel. I giggled and her head popped up.
"You like Why Don't We?" I asked
"Oh my God yes, I would do anything to meet them, do you like then also?"
I giggled again and said:
"I guess you could say that."
"I hope they come out with new music soon."
"Me too"
"I'll be right back, I just need to run into the back real quick to get you a bag."
"Kk thank you." I said
"No problem." She said walking into the back
I went to get my wallet out and I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Daniel
"What's up?" I said
"Are you almost done, my feet are tired."
"Ok ok, calm down you big baby!" I said laughing
"Hold me!" He said playfully jumping on my back
"Daniel! Get off of me!" I said laughing, but he wasn't budging
The girl came out but didn't look up at Who was currently on my back.
"Ok so your total will be - AHHH THATS DANIEL SEAVEY!" She said looking up and then screaming and jumping up and down
"Daniel! Get off of me now!" I said as he hopped of my back
"YOURE ACTUALLY DANIEL SEAVEY, I THINK I MIGHT FAINT!" She said still jumping up and down, Daniel and I stood there laughing
"Come here." Daniel said smiling and opening his arms for a hug
She was shaking as she came out from behind the counter.
"C-can I hug you?" She said
"Of course you can!" He said wrapping his arms around her, and she actually started crying
"Can I get a picture with you?" She said wiping her tears
"Definitely!" He said
"I'll take it." Anna said running over and grabbing the phone from her.
Daniel and her smiled for a pic and then he kissed her on the cheek for another.
"Thank you so much! How are you not freaking out?!" She said turning to me
"Because he's my brother." I said laughing
"Oh my God, I totally forgot about your romper. I'll give it to you for a discount."
"You don't have to do that." I said pulling my wallet out
"Are you kidding? You just made my dream come true! I can give you a 50% discount for sure."
"Thank you so much." I said, as she put my money in the cash register she wouldn't take her eyes off Daniel
"I never got your name." I said to her
"My names Lucy." She said
"I'm Daniel." Daniel said putting his arm around my shoulders as I rolled my eyes
"I'm Gracie, we should hangout sometime."
"Yeah, definitely." She said as we switched phones and put our numbers in each other's phones.
"Who's you favorite member?" I said covering Daniel's ears
"Jack" She said
"Oh, ew" I said
She laughed
"Well we got to go now, this baby's feet hurt." I said pointing to Daniel
"They do!" He said jumping on my back
"It was nice meeting you Lucy!" Daniel yelled as we exited the store
I put Daniel down and he said:
"She was nice."
" Yeah, I never saw someone freak about one of you guys before, even at concerts."
"Haha, it's really unexpected I guess, but I love meeting fans."
"I bet so."
We said goodbye to Anna, Jeff, and Keri and then headed home. On the way Daniel mentioned:
" So our 2 year anniversary is coming up."
" oh my God, I totally forgot, are you guys doing anything special?"
" We're doing a small show for about 200 special limelights."
"Oh that's so cool, you should make Lucy one of those special limelights."
" Good idea."
"Why don't you deliver an invitation personally, like all five of you?"
"Ok, we'll go this time next week to make sure she is working."
"Sounds good."
We pulled up to the house and went inside. I said hi to Jonah who was chilling on the couch and asked:
"Wheres Zach?"
"Uh I think upstairs."
"Thanks. ZACHARY DEAN HERRON GET DOWN HERE!" I yelled
He ran downstairs and said:
"Did you like your present?"
"Your nuts, $500! What were you thinking?"
" I wanted to spoil you."
" Zach you know I hate all the cliche stuff."
" I'm sorry, do you have any change?"
" Yeah, $500 bucks total in change." I said handing it to him
"What? You didn't get anything?"
"I did, a really cute romper, I used my own money."
"Your ridiculous."
"And so are you!" I said
"Come one just take the money from the kid, even Tate lets me spoil her princess."
"Sit down Jonah, you don't spoil her with $500 dollars."
"No but, she lets me me call her princess, and she wears dresses and stuff."
"So what just because I'm not girly means I'm a bad girlfriend?!"
"No! That's not what I meant."
"I know that's not what you meant, and I'm not bad at you J, I'm mad at you." I said pointing at Zach
"Why?!"
"Because your out of your mind giving me $500 dollars!" I yelled before walking downstairs and slamming the door.
I laid on my phone for about an hour until I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said and saw Daniel, Corbyn, and Zach walk down all with a shirt in their hand.
"Look Gracie, I'm sorry, I just wanted to do something nice for you." Zach said
"It's ok, I get it, but just don't go that big next time."
"Noted." He said
"But why were all down here is because we got some new merch and wanted to give it to you, but we didn't know which one you should wear. " Corbyn said
Corbyn held his up that said Besson on the back.
Daniel held up his shirt that said Seavey.
And Zach held his up that said Herron.
"Personally, I think you should wear mine, because your my daughter." Corbyn said
"But I'm her boyfriend, so she will wear mine." Zach said
"But she is a Seavey, so she has to wear mine." Daniel said
"Ok ok, I'll take them all, and the one I wear to dinner tonight is the one I'll wear."
"Deal" they all said in sync and they ran upstairs
I waited for them to tell me the pizza arrived and I ran upstairs with a hoodie on over the shirt I was wearing. As I closed the door behind me Daniel, Zach, and Corbyn looked at me and sighed.
"Do you have the shirt on?" Daniel said
"I do, after dinner." I said
We went and ate our pizza, after dinner we went to chill in the living room.
"Ok take your hoodie off now!" Zach said
"Ok ok touché " I said taking it off
I turned around and started laughing
