"You have your father's eyes," the woman says.
I look at her, "You're Evelyn," I say, and she nods.
Tears well up in her eyes, and I can tell that she is keeping herself from crying. I look away, I can't trust this woman, she left my dad with the monster. I look at Edward, he must've told Evelyn about when I saw him.
"Why are you here?" She asks, "Aren't you supposed to be training for initiation?"
"I left," I simply say.
I am waiting for the train to slow down, so I can get off, even if I have to walk back to the compound. It's getting dark now, so I have to get back anyway.
"Al, I'm here to warn you." She says.
I look at her, how can I even trust her? "Warn me?"
"The faction system is breaking," she says, "I know your results," and I am just about ask how, she says, "Don't ask how, but I know you're Resurgent, like me."
I try to ask her how she knows all this, but no words come out of my mouth. "Trust me, you need to leave dauntless, and join us."
"Join you?" I laugh, "You want me to leave my family and my friends, to join you and a bunch of homeless people?"
She looks at me with a disapproving look, "You'll need to join us Al, and when you do, I'll be waiting." They both jump off the train.
Once their gone, I lean against the back wall, and let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding in. I look outside the train, and see my destination, and I jump.

I glance at the clock, and it says 10:28, two minutes before curfew, and Al still hasn't came back. She left at like 6:00, and no one has seen her since.
"Did she come back?" Jo asks as she enters the dorm room.
"I was hoping that you found her," I say, and she looks over to Maci, who shakes her head. Kevin walks in, and we all fall silent. All the girls still hate him for pushing me off the chasm, but Jordan, Tommy, and I don't really care anymore. I guess it's more of a girl thing to hold grudges.
"I haven't seen her," he says and Claire shoots him a glare.
Jo looks at Kevin and gives him a sympathetic look, when did that happen?
"She'll be back any minute." Jenna says, but there is a look of uncertainty in her eyes.
I hope Jenna's right.

I open the doors to the erudite compound, and go up to the front desk. Of course, my cousin Madison is sitting there, a book open in her lap. I go over to her, and she looks up.
"Hey Madison," I say, and she holds up her finger.
"Let me finish the chapter," she says, and her eyes dart back and forth across the pages, and then she closes the book. "What can I do?"
"Brian," I say.
She types something on her computer, and smiles, "Second floor, room 218. He might be sleeping though."
