*Ethan's POV*

We enter his office and I close and lock the door slowly and quietly behind us.. we're alone. No bodyguards.. nothing.. only we two.

»What is going on? Where is she and what's in that folder?« he asks already sitting down on his chair rolling himself towards his table.. taking his old position like he's used to.

I slowly walk towards him with a clenched jaw.
»Why?« I ask with furrowed eyebrows and a deep voice. He looks confused.

»Because I don't understand why you're having a folder with you?« he says and I could laugh at how easy he's taking this.

»No. Why?« I ask again and I know that he knows exactly what I mean this time. He slowly furrows his eyebrows and I feel the air tensing.

»Why all this? Her mom? Seriously? Why did you make her go through hell huh? Your stepdaughter.. you creep..« I say and I realize that I've already lost my respect for him a while ago before this all.
He looks surprised. More like shocked.

»Creep? What happened to capo?« he asks and I raise a brow. »He's not real. He's a fake hero that appeared when he killed my dad.« I say and he looks even more surprised now.

»Ohh..« he says laughing. I really need to keep my shit together before I actually lose myself and attack him.

»What else and how much do you know?« he asks leaning back and enjoying this but he doesn't even know what's waiting for him. He doesn't know shit.
»Not enough.« I answer and keep going.

»Why this all with Y/N? Why did you try to make the daughter of your love go through hell?« I ask extremely pissed. He just takes a deep breath totally calm like we're having a normal talk.

I've never thought we'd come to this point but we did.

He slowly stands up and starts walking around it the room like this is such an easy thing to tell.
»Y/N found out about her mom's and my affair.. she threatened her to tell it her husband.. that scared Elizabeth and made her uncomfortable. She was under pressure.. she was afraid.. she didn't know how to handle it..« he starts to explain and I don't understand how the fuck this should make sense or what he's trying to reach with this.

»Y/N was a danger for us.. did you really think I'd let her destroy everything? She had to pay for the way she made her mother feel.. she doesn't have a right to interfere in our relationship. I wanted her to suffer, especially when I heard that she told it her dad..« he said and I am so disgusted I could literally throw up or just faint.

He really did this all on purpose. He really wanted to see her suffer.. see her in pain..

»But I've learned to love her! I mean she's my child! I wanted this all to make her stronger and I wanted to make her realize that this world will kick her in the ass if she misbehaves..«.

Good I really need to start breathing normally because otherwise I'm going to lose my shit and have a freak out or mental breakdown or anything else that makes me lose everything.

I'll show him that I'll kick him in his ass if he tries to hurt her ever again but that won't happen because after this he'll never be able to do anything again.

He sits down again and he looks so proud of himself.. so proud that it's annoying me even more.. but I stay calm.

»I can't stand that you're trying to hurt her..« I say and he furrows his eyebrows. »Oh yeah. I don't even understand why you are asking me these things and now I don't even understand why you can't stand that I'm trying to hurt her! Why do you care? Why does it matter to you?« he asks totally pissed looking at me like he's asking if I'm okay.
