After finally giving Jack an answer Jackie wonders if she made the right decision. It's too late to turn back now considering they are already in the hotel suite Jack had booked just for tonight.
Jackie is nervous and isn't sure what to expect. She's sitting on the sofa in the suite while Jack left to go to the drug store. She is texting her sister Lee, the only family member who knows where she is and whats going on.
She made Lee swear that she wouldn't tell her parents where she was going or what she was doing. Now she is unsure if she should go through with it.
"I guess I love him," she thinks to herself.
But what exactly did love feel like? Was it what she and Jack were about to do. Did Jack love her as he claimed?
Jackie is interrupted from her thoughts when she hears a knock at the door.
"Who is it?" she asks.
"Room Service," the voice replied.
She opens the door and the man comes in with the food. After he leaves she's left alone again with her thoughts.
Is it too late to back out now? I don't want to hurt his feelings! I don't want him to leave me if I choose not to.
So many thoughts with such little time to reconsider.
Jack comes back to the room and notices that he doesn't see Jackie.
I hope she didn't leave, he mumbles.
When he goes into the bedroom he can hear the shower running.
Good, she didn't leave.
He places the bag from the store on the dresser then proceeds to strip down to his boxers. He goes out to the living-room to wait for Jackie to come out of the bathroom.
When Jackie comes out of the bathroom she hears the tv in the living room and assumes Jack is back from the store. Just as she puts her clothes in her suitcase she feels his arms around her waist.
"You missed me?" he asks kissing her cheek.
Yes," she replies.
"I've missed you," he replies turning her around to have her face him. She smiles shyly and he kisses her.
"You're so beautiful Jackie," he says against her lips.
"Uh thanks," she replies.
He chuckles and places a kiss on her forehead.
"Jack, I've been thinking. I don't know if I'm really ready. Like I've said before I really do care about you and want to be with you. But..."
"What?"
"I know I told you, yes and I don't want to make you mad, but I'm scared."
"Jackie I'll be right there with you. I'm not gonna hurt you," Jack replies caressing her cheek, "it'll be beautiful."
She looks into his eyes and she can't help but believe him.
"Why don't we eat dinner before it gets cold," Jack says rubbing her shoulders.
"Alright," she replies meekly.

Later on that night they are lying in bed. She's in his arms and he is caressing her cheek.
"That wasn't so bad was it?" Jack asks.
"It was uncomfortable, but it still felt good," she lies.
Actually, the experience hurt. It wasn't anything like her friends at her old school said it would be like. She was expecting to see stars and heaven, she didn't see any of that. Besides she didn't know what do, Jack was doing all the work. Now she kinda regrets it, but it's too late to go back now.
"I love you, Jackie," he says distracting her from her thoughts.
"I love you too Jack," she replies.
That is something else she isn't so sure of either.
