Jackie jumps when she is awakened out of her sleep. She picks up her phone and she sees its Jack.
"Jack do you know what time it is?" she snaps when his face appears on the screen.
"Yes it's three minutes after seven," Jack asks looking at her.
"What!? Shit, I'm gonna be late getting Bella to her appointment!" Jackie jumps up before running towards her closet.
"Jackie, Jackie!" Jack calls through the phone.
"WHAT JACK?"
It's three minutes after seven pm, not am," he replies with a chuckle.
Jackie looks at the clock next to her bed and it now says four after seven pm. She sits down on the bed.
"Jackie," Jack calls out.
She comes back to her desk which is covered with open books.
"Yes Jack," she replies picking up her phone.
"Is this a bad time right now?"
"No. I'm sorry Jack," she replies running a hand through her hair, "I fell asleep while doing my homework."
"Where's Arabella?"
"She's with Lee. She said she would watch her while I did my homework."
"Oh, you look exhausted kid."
"I am, Arabella kept me up all night. She had gas."
"Is she alright now?"
"Yes she's fine."
"Good, what are you doing tomorrow?"
"I plan on going shopping to get decorations and to order the cake for Bella's party."
"Can I join you?"
"You? Going shopping Jack? I can't ever recall a time where you've ever wanted to go shopping with me."
"It's not clothes shopping, besides I can't help you with the planning of my daughter's first birthday. She is half mine too you know."
"I know that it's just I didn't think you wouldn't really want to be that involved."
"Well, I do. Unless you're just afraid to be alone with me Jackie?" he asks with a wink.
"Jack, please let's not do this. You know me and Brad are together."
"I know that. I can't tease you, Jackie?"
"I apologize, Jack, I didn't mean to take it the wrong way."
"Apology accepted Ms. Bouvier. So what time should I pick you and Bella up?"
"Around ten."
"What about nine? We can go out to breakfast together as a family?"
Jackie sighs. He never gives up.
"Sure Jack, that's fine."
"Good, I'll see you in the morning, give Bella a goodnight kiss for me."
"Ok, see you in the morning, Jack," Jackie replies before hanging up
