Jack found himself at the Bouvier residence after having Thanksgiving dinner with his family. He had arrived from school the night before. Since Jackie sent him that video she hasn't talked to him. She only responds to him by text; and she was barely responding.

He knew he messed up royally and wants to make it up to Jackie. He really cares about Jackie and can't see himself with anyone else. He does love her and feels guilty for hurting her. Although according to the video, that didn't really seem like it's true.

He knocks on the door and waits for someone to answer the door.

Before he came over he texted Jackie and told her he was coming over so they could talk.

The door opens to reveal a not too thrilled Jack Bouvier on the other side.

"Good evening Mr. Bouvier, Happy Thanksgiving," Jack says.

"Good evening Jack, same to you," Jack Bouvier responds, "you can come in."

"Thank you, sir," Jack says entering the house.

"You can wait here. I'll go get Jackie."

"Thank you, sir."

He stands in the living room and waits for Jackie. Right now he doesn't know what to say or how to fix it. He just knows that he needs to show Jackie he is truly sorry.

Just then he hears footsteps coming towards him. Jack turns to see Jackie's mother come in.

"Good evening Mrs. Bouvier, Happy Thanksgiving."

"Thank you, Jack, same to you," Janet says, "I'm sure you're here to talk to Jackie."

"Yes ma'am," Jack says shifting uncomfortably.

He can tell from the tone of her voice that she isn't pleased to see him and she knows what's going on. Then again, Janet Bouvier has never been a fan of him dating Jackie.

She felt Jack is too mature for Jackie and plus she doesn't care too much for the "rambunctious" Kennedys. Now he has impregnated her daughter and broke Jackie's heart. Tonight is going to be a long night.

Jack turns when he hears footsteps behind him again; seeing Jackie come down the steps with her father following behind her.

She looks beautiful, he thinks to himself as he admires the red maternity dress she is wearing. Her long brown hair curled and down her shoulders.

"Hi Jackie," Jack says.

"Hi, Jack."

"You look beautiful," he says hoping to ease some of the tension that has already filled the room.

"Thank you," she replies stopping in front of him.

"How's the baby?"

"Fine," Jackie says.

"You would know if you called her more frequently and wasn't screwing around on her," Janet snaps.

"Janet, why don't we leave them alone so they can talk. Jackie's a big girl she can handle this," Jack Bouvier says reaching for his wife's hand.

Janet looks at Jackie and then looks at her husband before taking his hand going with him up the stairs. Once it seemed like her parents were out of earshot, Jackie speaks first.

"Jack..."

"Jackie before you start..." he says cutting her off.

"It's over Jack."

"What!?"

"It's over Jack. There's nothing else to talk about or for you to say. It's over."

"Jackie, please. I'm so sorry, I made a huge mistake. I swear I won't do it again."

"How do I know that Jack? How will I know  while I'm here putting my life on hold for you. You won't be in Massachusetts screwing half of the Harvard female population? If I had never seen that video, would you have even told me? Were those the only two or were there more?"

"Jackie, I'm sorry. I love you! I didn't mean to hurt you. I was drunk and out of my mind. Believe me, it wasn't intentional."

"It did look intentional and from the way you looked in that video, you didn't really seem all that drunk to me."

"Jackie, can't we work this out? Not only for us but for the baby's sake?"

"As I said before Jack, I wouldn't keep you away. As for us, there's no point. This is what I was talking about the night before you left. I told you I wanted us to just end it and be just friends so you could go on and live your life. But no Jack, you promised me you wouldn't cheat on me. Then I get a video sent to my phone of my boyfriend going towards a bedroom with two girls giving the cameraman thumbs up."

Jack looks down and doesn't know what else to say. He knows from the way she is talking she already has her mind made up. There is no use in trying to charm her now or beg, it's over between them.

"Like I said before you left Jack, I think we should just be friends. When the baby comes we just co-parent and live our lives. It's obvious we're too young to be in a serious let alone a long-distance relationship."

"Jackie, please? I swear this time that I will do right. I love you." he replies quietly.

Jackie swallows hard as she takes the promise ring off her finger.

"You don't love me, Jack. You only love the idea of having me," Jackie says placing the ring in his hand.

"Jackie I want you to keep it. I do love you."

"I don't want it," she says going over to the chair that has his varsity jacket on it.

Jackie picks up the jacket and gives it to him.

"Jackie... we can't work this out? Please?" he asks touching her chin. His eyes pleading.

She doesn't look at him as the tears stream down her cheek.

"I'm sorry Jackie. Please? Just give us another chance."

"I really think it's best that we just be friends."

Feeling defeated, Jack turns and begins to walk towards the door. Jackie opens the door and Jack stops before walking out.

"I do love you, Jacqueline Bouvier," he says kissing her one last time.

He breaks away and walks out the door. She closes the door once he pulls off. It was hard, but she feels like she is doing what is best for both of them.
