The summer has been a very busy time from May all the way until now. Jackie had graduated from Vassar with her degree in French Literature in the spring to planning her fall wedding. Now she sits in front of the mirror looking at herself in her wedding gown.
She has been waiting for this day ever since Jack proposed two years ago and now this day has finally come.
*Knock on the door*
"Come in," Jackie says.
Lee walks in her bridesmaid gown.
"You ready Jacks?" she asks coming up behind her sister.
"Ready as I'll ever be," Jackie says looking at herself one last time.
Lee looks at her sister and a tear falls down her cheek.
"What's wrong?" Jackie asks looking at Lee when she becomes quiet.
"I'm just so happy for you Jackie! You're marrying the love of your life. I've always known that you and Jack were going to be together."
"Yeah right, I remember you saying thank you, next when Jack and I first broke up," Jackie smirks.
"I know but at the time I was just trying to console you," Lee replies dabbing her eyes trying not to mess up her makeup.
Jackie giggles and turns to hug her sister.
"Honestly, I've always known that I wanted to be with Jack. I was just hurt and being stubborn. But I've realized that I really do love him, even if it started out as puppy love," Jackie giggles again.
"Wish you and Jack all the happiness in the world! Bring me back something from Acapulco, preferably tall and handsome," Lee says with a wink before leaving Jackie alone.
Jackie smiles and takes one last look at herself in the mirror.
She walks out to the vestibule where her father is waiting for her.
"You look beautiful sweetheart," John Bouvier says taking his eldest daughter's hand.
"Thank you, Daddy," she says kissing her father's cheek and taking his arm.
She takes a few deep breaths as the organist begins to play.
Jackie and her father begin their walk down the aisle towards her new future with the man she loves.

Later on that night...
They lie in bed basking in the quietness after their exciting and busy day.
"Jack."
"Yes," he replies playing with the strap of her nightgown.
"There's something I need to tell you," she says getting out of his embrace.
Jackie sits up and looks into her husband's eyes.
"What's wrong kid?" Jack asks concerned.
"Um I went to the doctor last week and I received some news."
"What kind of news?"
She begins to smile before saying, "I'm pregnant."
Jack looks at her for a moment and it dawns on him.
"You're, you're, you're pregnant!?"
"Yes!"
"I'm going to be a father again?"
"Yes!"
"Jackie that's wonderful," Jack says embracing her peppering her face with kisses.
He stops and they share a passionate kiss.
"So how far along are you?" he asks after they stop.
"I'm six weeks," Jackie replies putting her arm around her husband.
Jack thinks back six weeks before and grins.
"What?"
"So it must have been the night of your birthday that we conceived our little one," he says rubbing her stomach.
"I guess so," she blushes when she thinks back to that wonderful night.
Dinner, dancing, a night filled with romance. Her twenty-first birthday is going to be a birthday that she'll never forget. Now her wedding day will be another day she'll add to her special memories that she has shared with Jack.
Despite all that they have been through, they're meant to be together. Like Lem said earlier that day, "they are two halves of one whole." A perfect description of her and Jack.
"I love you so much Mrs. Kennedy," his voice pulling her out of her reverie.
"I love you too Mr. Kennedy."
