"So you don't remember how he looked?" The police officer questioned.
"No, I only remember a name." I replied. "Jeon Jungkook, I believe he said that was his name."
"That's more than enough. Thank you for your cooperation." He thanked and left the hospital room as fast as he came in.
"You okay sweetie?" My mom asked afterwards, caressing the side of my cheek, her worried eyes wrinkled as she gave me a warm smile.
I've been here for about a day, my parents, together with Hoseok and Yoongi, stayed by my side the whole time. My mom made sure to thank them every fifteen minutes for finding me and my dad made it his personal job to stop her once she started again.
"I'm fine, thanks for asking." I reassured, gripping my mom's hands firmer.
It was a simple tearing gas, but turns out that if someone stayed too exposed to it, it can become fatal. I thought it was no big deal, but then...

I looked at her, at him, at her again, unable to grasp the idea of how far this whole thing became. It was a simple game, one option, one destiny to change, yet... how did it come to this? Five reincarnations later and none of them remember a thing. Was I cursed to remember every time we restarted the game? Everytime we would get deleted? Everytime she would die? Everytime he... got worse?
I thought his condition would stay the same everytime we restarted, but no, it got worse and worse and worse and much more, until... Well, until he eventually dies because of it.
I closed my eyes and gulped, my throat feeling soar from the gas I inhaled. I leaned my head backwards, trying to ignore her condition as well. I couldn't take losing her too. Her case was different, but she was going out of reach too. Her body might be healthy, but I can see how her sanity would leave a piece everytime she died. She used to be so... energetic, happy and excited all the time, but now I see a broken shell of the previous MinJee I knew. Her sunken eyes and cheeks spoke of skipped meals, her heavy breathing told me she probably deals with the stress of choosing the least evil of two choices.
The gang wasn't the same as well. Namjoon would avoid us at all costs, the game making him choose between his happiness with us or his life. He doesn't remember who we were, so he didn't try finding happiness while it lasted. Jin would always end up killing one of us, so we were the ones avoiding him. Taehyung and Jimin would always tangle themselves with stuff I don't want to even think about. Drugs, sex and murder was always on their list the more we restarted. Jungkook... Well, judging by the fact that he either gets killed or he's the one doing the killing, the game is fresh out of mercy for him. Now that he failed at killing MinJee, the game would automatically set the course for the second option, his life.
As for Hoseok, like I said, his condition gets worse and I'm sure he doesn't know why. He probably wakes up every morning, wondering why is there blood on the pillows. Wonders what's wrong with him and why the doctors can't figure out what he suffered from.
And it's all my fault. I'm really sorry Hoseok, but I had to. It was either you or MinJee, and you know how I felt towards her. You have to understand.
