"What do you mean 'who'?" I questioned, tilting my head to the side. "Hobi? Jung Hoseok? Come on man. Don't do this to me." I bit my lip, my breathing quickened, I didn't know how to react. Everything that I had bottled up just went rushing out.
"Hey, hey... Calm down." Taehyung grabbed my arms, forcing them to stop from trembling so hard. "Maybe... maybe he was someone from a past reincarnation that didn't matter in this whole mess?" He suggested.
"HE'S THE REASON WE'RE IN THIS MESS!" I violently pulled my arms away from his and stormed off, trying to make scene of what was happening.
MinJee... Yeah, she'll definitely remember him. After all, she believes he's the man she fell in love with. I had to go to her right now, but something in the corner of my eye caught my attention. I stopped dead on my tracks and looked towards the other side of the boulevard. There, a man all dressed in black, stood and looked at me, his eyebrows raised as if he was about to cry. I didn't care if there were cars nearby, I ran to see him, but he turned around and walked away. I know that face. How could I forget it? It may have matured, but Chiwon would always stay Chiwon.
I ran across streets, through narrow alleyways, trying to get a hold of him, but every time I thought I could reach him, my hands slipped off him.
It wasn't after an hour of running that I found myself panting amidst a cemetery. I turned around, trying to spot him again, but no such luck. Was it my imagination? Was he a ghost? I don't know.
Just when I was about to walk away, I heard a distant cry. I jerked my head to the side, and there she was, MinJee, standing infront of a grave stone, grieving.
Slowly, I walked towards her until she spotted me and stopped crying. When her eyes recognised mine, she started again, pointing at the grave stone in disbelif. She shook her head, trying to stop her tears from overflowing, but I could see how much she suffered from doing so.
I walked closer and stole a glance towards the grave stone. My heart dropped, I refused to believe what I read was true.
