Who Will Escape?

The group is back. Back at the estate. Everything is as if they never left. They don't spot Thomas in the tent of the Ringmaster and as soon as they are all out of the tent. It disappears again. Disappearing with the Town of Everlock. With their friends.
"Guys. Where's Thomas?" Alexis asks out loud as they all shrug. Next thing they know, they spot a figure in the window of the Foyer/Lounge. It's Thomas. They all hurry inside to find the Vampire Assistant pacing back and forth, in a very anxious manner. He jumps back in freight upon seeing the group, but there's also relief on his face. He embraces Amarie and Bryan (the two in the front of the group).

"I'm so glad you guys are back. I didn't know what happened to any of you." Thomas frets to the group. His face displays that he notices a number of people gone and also that Trey's back from the dead.
"Wait, Oh my god! What time is it!?" Kyler gasps as they have lost track of time.

"Time is still the same here. It's been like twenty minutes since you guys have left." Thomas informs the group which catches them off guard.
"Wait. But we were in Everlock for like HOURS!" Rita exclaims in confusion.
"Well..Maybe time moves differently for both places." Alexis shrugs.

"Guys it doesn't matter. We need to get back to business. Quick put the artifacts on that shelf." Tamaya instructs the group, pointing at the mantel about the fireplace.

They place the six artifacts on top.
Tamaya then turns to Thomas.
"Any clues you have for us?" Thomas's lips turn up into a small smile. He hands them a photograph.
The group notices that the photograph is of the Foyer they're in. However, Shangag can't tell a difference. Meantime the others look at the picture, Bethany sets Kai's clothes down on a chair and Olivia does the same with Cole's camera.

"Can I see the picture real quick?" asks Alec, taking it from Tamaya hands before she has a chance to respond.

Not that Tamaya notices; she's too busy examining the staircase.
"Well shit. Maybe we can feel for, like, trapdoors or something...

"It's so black.." Nyadhol mutters.

It is black, though the black seems to have been blended with the white of the marble to create an almost chilling color.
There's a painting on the wall, and the entire staircase looks like a spiral road to nowhere.

Daniel stands next to Alec, trying to examine the room, but everything here seems to be in order. Nothing strikes him as particularly suspicious.

Daniel has a similar attitude.
"I've been looking long and hard-"

But his complaint is cut off by a shout of "Wait!" from Shay. The Saloon Girl pokes at a piece of marble lodged in the bannister, and a few seconds later, it falls onto the ground.

"Oh my god!" shouts Nancy.

The key's inside. Devon's relieved for about two seconds-but then he realizes what comes next.

The group gathers around a new found door.
Shay, who has the key, prepares to use it.

"I'm scared," murmurs Kyler. She's not lying;
Alec can feel the vibrations of her trembling body, and he's not even touching her.
"I don't want to do this."

Bryan couldn't have said it better himself.

This door clearly leads to a secret room-a room none of us had any clue existed when we were here! Who knows what the hell's in there?
