"Screaming like a bunch of goddamn children!" The clown barges into the RV and Amarie whacks him with the bat. "Go, go, go!" Mary yells. Kai runs through the door and into the open as fast as his legs can carry him. He's a good runner or so at least as he thinks.
Kai Keep running, Don't look back. Keep running. Stay alive.
He's a good distance away from the RV when a clown comes out of nowhere and grabs him by his jacket. "No!" He shouts, trying to squirm out of her grasp, but it's too late. He's been caught. As if that isn't bad enough, Amarie and Mary couldn't even make it past the RV's entrance. They have also been recaptured by the clowns. "No! Let go hoe!" Amarie screams as one of the clowns wrestles the bat away from her "No! No! No!".
Kai Not again!
Kai fights his captors as they drag him, Mary and Amarie towards the carousel.
Mary Not after we worked so hard to get out of that RV! Where are the others? What's gonna happen now?
The clowns tie the three teenagers to the carousel. "Welcome to Everlock!" snickers the head clown "Didn't I tell you that we'd be friends soon?" . "This is not how friendships work!" spits Mary. The head clown flashes a demented smile at her "I liked you from the start! You're a feisty one! Well, at any rate, you three are going to stay right here until we round up the rest of your friends. That's when the real fun begins!". She lets out another fit of terrifying laughter. "You're not gonna get away with this!" Kai shouts at them, trying to sound like a hero. "We already have, sweetheart!" replies one of the clowns between giggles.
It's our friends. Shaadira recognizes their voices anywhere.
Shaadira They're alive, which is good, but they're in trouble.
"Oh, wow.." says Nyadhol, who's peeking at the chaos through the window blinds. "Is that Amarie?" Kiersten's face displays concern. "That's Amarie and Mary" reports Shangag. "And Kai..." Bethany mutters, clasping her hands together in worry. "Are you serious?" Tamaya's jaw drops. "Okay, wait..wait, wait, wait." Nancy says calmly. But Alexis is done waiting. "We have to save them.." she declares, her hands balled into fists against her sides.
Alexis I fucking hate clowns, especially clowns with weapons, but I'd rather deal with clowns than let my friends die!
Shay nods in agreement "We need to get out of this arcade!". "If that's what you want." says Mortimer. He opens the door.

"Just run." Rita reminds the group right before they take off. She swallows the lump in her dry throat. "Just run!"
