The Last One Who Is Sacrificed

"Oh my god....you guys.." Bethany's eyes tear up as she clutches her own hands. Watching as Olivia is still struggling to finish the witches brew. Shaadira makes it through, but she's not happy about her win. All she's concerned about is her friend Olivia.

Olivia
I'm trying to fight for my life! My friends keep moving more and more ahead, and I'm still drinking!

Amarie is restarting yet again on the fourth puzzle, "Oh my goddd!" She groans as she is crawling through the dirt and grass for what appears to be the third time.

"Come on! Don't give up Og." Alexis attempts at encouraging the Engineer, who has been at station one the entire time

"Hey, gg..you got this. Take slow sips, it's okay." Bryan's voice is trembling as he watches his best friends take another sip, but is unable to swallow the brew.

She spits it back out, not caring anymore if her hair is in the way.

Alexis actually manages to pass up Amarie in the fourth puzzle and she is the next to finish the fourth puzzle. She quickly hurries onto the alter. The Fixer's face reads 'sadness' as she looks over at Olivia.

"I'm just gonna barf you guys..." Olivia chuckles as she takes a sip, and shakes her head.

Olivia
I don't think I can do this anymore..

She can't. It's too much. she spits it back out, then Amarie finally completes the fourth puzzle.

Everyone watches as Olivia sets her mug down to try and not continue puking. Amarie feels terrible as she makes it past the fourth puzzle and gets onto her feet.

Thomas even feels bad for the Engineer.

"Hey it's okay gg..." Bryan's voice trails off, as he holds his hand out to help Amarie up onto the alter. Olivia had picked up her mug to take another drink, but she sees everyone on the alter. She knows. She's lost.

She's gonna die. The last of Olivia's strength slips through her fingers. A small smile forms on her face. Everything will be okay. All the curses will be broken. Her friends will be safe.

Olivia
Sucks that I'm dying. But, my friends will escape this horrible night......In the end, the good outweighs the bad. I love you guys...

Bryan's soul is crushed into pieces. The realization reverberates sets in. Olivia, his bestfriend, practically his twin, his almost sister, is about to be killed by the witches, and he can't save her. He'd almost rather die than let her go.

"Olivia," Bryan puts on a smile for her sake,
"you have been the best friend I could ask for."

Please, gg. Don't die. I need you. Don't leave me.

She chuckles.
"I love you Bry."

"I love you too, gg." There are tears in his eyes. All he can do is accept this cruel ending.
"I'll miss you."

Olivia slumps against the table.
They gotta carry on. Survive.

"We love you, Olivia." says Shaadira, a tear rolls down her cheek.
