Alec runs back outside. The Devourer attempts to chase him, but it screeches to a halt at the open door.
"I'm right here, come on!" Alec shouts.

The Devourer attempts to reach a claw through the door, but an invisible force field traps him inside the house. He roars in fury.
"You guys!" There's a grin on Alec's face again. "He's stuck! He can't come out!" Alec definitely feels a lot better about his chances of survival.
Alec I'm safe from the Devourer's clutches...as long as I'm outside...
So he does what any other person would do. He charges inside.
He runs for the staircase. The Devourer, clearly happy at having a human inside, charges after him. Alec just keeps running.
Alec Come on, guys. Do your thing, and I'll do mine, and hopefully no one will die.
While Alec distracts the Devourer, Amarie sneaks into the house alongside Trey, Alexis, Bethany, Octavia, Daniel, Shangag and Rita.
"Grab candles!" orders Rita.
Daniel nods and begins collecting candles. "Okay, Rita! Here's candles. There's two here."
"I'll get the basin!" Shangag shouts.
The Devourer's growls sound close. A little too close.
Don't think about the Devourer.
Daniel and Bethany have both collected armfuls of candles. "Okay." Rita organizes the materials, while Shangag grabs the basin. "We have to place this in the center!" he does as told by Rita.
"Follow the lines on the floor." Alexis tells them. "It'll make it way easier."
Daniel places his first candle down. "This'll be the bottom of the triangle everyone."
Then, just as everything is going smooth, the Devourer appears.
Amarie screams. Daniel and Bethany drop their candles and run for cover. "Oh my god! Hide! Hide! Hide!" the SuperSpy ducks behind a curtain.
"Hey!"
The Devourer turns his head.
