He made it to the city center in no time. The weather was so nice... everyone seemed to be happy. Everyone but him.

Feliks walked aimlessly, passing people on his way. They all seemed to have a reason to be there, a reason to exist.

The sun was shining in his face as he turned to another street, passing by one of the newly built metro stations. He could barely remember some of the streets and areas because of how much they have changed in the past years. He wanted to feel happy about it but deep inside, he felt like there was no sense of happiness left in his heart. I was almost as if he forgot how to be happy at all. He forgot what it was and how it actually felt. All he could feel anymore was sadness or confusion, at times frustration. Anger would come at times as well but that was only when he felt like he forgot something, or maybe someone. He always got angry and frustrated as he felt like whatever he forgot used to be very important to him.

Feliks was not used to the sun being so strong but he could not do anything about it. All he could do right now was walk forward and not turn back.

The laughs and sounds of people speaking made him feel happier. He at least knew that he wasn't alone.

His arms and legs ached with every step as if to remind him of what he has done to himself in the past months. Poland wanted to fight it off but gave up after a while knowing that it would not help at all. He could have sworn that he felt some of his wounds on his arms open and stain the bandages that he wrapped his arms in. At least no one would see then because he made sure to wear a long sleeved sweater just to cover them up.

After a while, he got tired of looking at people and focused his eyes on the street. He hated the feeling of being lonely but there was no help for it.

He was lonely. He could not remember why but he promised himself that he would stay lonely forever.

What a stupid promise, isn't it?

As he walked forward, he felt as if everyone was staring at him. Poland felt every pair of eyes turn to him as he passed strangers on the street. They knew that he was different. They knew that he was hurt. Feliks felt as if they were judging him but he could not do anything about it. Maybe he didn't have the mental strength to deal with them or maybe he just stopped caring.

He went all around the center of the city and he made his way to the old town. It was packed with people who were selling balloons, advertising restaurants and just pain tourists. Those last ones seemed to act so careless, seemed to ignore the history which the city contained in itself. Feliks would do something about it if he only wanted to, but he didn't. He lost all of his pride in where he lived and what he had to go through to still be alive today.

As he walked down the main street, a big group of people passed next to him.

Then from nowhere, he noticed something familiar. He opened his eyes wide as he tried to realize what was it that he just felt.

He quickly turned around to find the person that caught his attention. There was so many people but he knew exactly who to follow.

He didn't know why he needed to follow that person or what they would do but he had to do it. His mind was telling him that he had to. Maybe he was just going crazy?

Poland spotted a person in a blue hoodie, the hood covering his head as he was walking further and further away from him. Without thinking about it, Feliks started following the person, walking faster and faster until he managed to catch the person by the hand.

The shocked person turned around. Poland saw his brown hair and green eyes and everything came back to him.All of those years, their battles, their relationship. And then that terrible night.

Poland quickly hugged the person before they managed to take off and disappear again. The Pole held him tight as he cried into the brunettes shoulder.

- Feliks? - The brunette whispered surprised.

Poland froze. No, he was just hearing things... but it really was Lithuania's voice.

- Where were you? - Feliks asked, hugging Lithuania thighter. He took down his partner's hood as if to make sure that it was really him.

Toris still seemed surprised as he gently hugged Feliks.

- I - Toris tried to gather all of his strength to speak as he tried to hold back the tears. -I'm... sorry. - His voice was very weak.

Feliks almost put his ear next to his partners lips just to make sure that he was hearing everything correctly. He could not believe it. Lithuania was speaking. Maybe it was only a weak whisper but it was enough.

More tears fell down Feliks' face as he realized that it actually was Lithuania's voice.

- Don't leave me ever again. - Feliks looked him straight in the eyes. Toris still seemed surprised and scared of the meeting. He did not know what to actually feel. Should he be happy because he saw Feliks again? Should he be worried for how Poland looked?

- I...m sorry. - He whispered again. Speaking wasn't the easiest task but he had to show Poland that he can do it.

They stood in silence as Lithuania managed to calm down. Feliks was still crying into his shoulder and he had no idea how to calm him down.

- K...kocham...Cię* - Toris finally whispered into Poland's ear. Speaking Polish wasn't easy for him but he had to gather his strength to say it.

- What? - Feliks did not manage to hear what his partner was saying.

- Koch...am Cię. - Toris tried again.

- Ja ciebie też* - Feliks let go of him and smiled. Lithuania really was speaking. It really was his voice. It was very silent and weak but he managed to speak again! He remembered how depressed Toris was after the accident but it turned out that he was able to teach himself to speak again after all. He did miss pronounce some of the letters and he wasn't able to say others but he was speaking. Feliks was sure that with his help, Lithuania would be able to speak even better in no time.

- Come on. - Poland said after a while, taking Lithuania's hand. - Let's go home.

Lithuania only nodded and even smiled a bit. As he took Feliks' hand, he felt some material under his shirt. He quickly pulled Poland to a stop and pulled up his sleeve to reveal the bandages. Some of them were slowly being stained red. Toris looked at him in horror.

- I missed you. - Feliks said calmly, smiling. - Please, let's go. You have a lot to tell me. - He ignored Lithuania's expression.

Toris followed him as he tried to figure out what Poland has done to himself. He would have to ask him when they get home.

Home

Where was home?

.Home

What was home?

..Home

Was it still his home?

...Home...

Should he feel happy or should he leave?

Leave?

After all of this?

Why did he learn how to speak again?

He did try to force himself to never try to learn but he had to.

Why?

For Poland?

For himself?

For the both of them?

Lithuania felt Poland's hand squeeze his own as he realized that he was crying.
