Hanging the newly brought clothes in Kitty's wardrobe, I then close it and place all of her drawing and activity kits on the desk. Kitty is sat on the floor, playing with her Avengers teddies and whispering a story. The door opens and I look up to see Bucky walking in, a small smile on his lips that brightens his eyes. He is still wearing the blue brace that wraps around his right arm and there's a strap around his chest that connects with the one around his neck, holding his shoulder in place. But I can see it's healing because Bucky's face doesn't tense when he moves.

"Ste?" He asks

"Yes, Bucky?" I question

"Can you come to your bedroom a minute please, I have something to show you?" He says.

He looks away from me, averting his eyes but I can see his cheeks blush. That's normal. I can't help but chuckle when I see him shy and blushing.

"Sure."

Bucky nods, slipping his hand into mine and pulling me out of the room. He leads me down the corridor and around the corner, pushing open the door. He close it and guides me to the bed, pushing on my shoulders to sit down. I glance up at him with confused eyes, but he looks away.

"Close your eyes." He orders

Closing my eyes, I hear him laugh lightly and his footsteps get quiet. After a minute I hear him approach again. He grabs my hands and turns them so my palms are facing up in my lap. Something heavy is placed into my open hands and my curiosity increases.

"Can I open my eyes yet?" I question.

"Yes."

Opening my eyes, I glance down to see my surprise. It's a set of graphic pencils in a wooden artist box, two sketch pads and a set of small acrylic paints. Looking up, Bucky is looking down at me with questioning eyes.

"What are these for?" I ask

"Well, you lost all your art stuff in the house, so this is me starting it again and I'll buy everything back that you lost. This is sort of a start to me apologising." he explains.

Placing the stuff on the bed, I stand up and place my hands on his hips, forcing him to look at me.

"I've already told you, it wasn't your fault."

"But..."

"No." I interrupt, placing my hand over his lips. Bucky's eyes widen at my sudden action. "Stop. It wasn't your fault so stop apologising James Buchanan Barnes."

Bucky tenses when I say his full name and he realises I've won.

"But...thank you very much for my art gifts." I whisper.

Taking my hand away, I lean forward and kiss him. Bucky slips his metal hand around my waist and rests it on my back, just above my jeans. There's a knock at the door and it's swung open before we have a chance to pull away. The reaction from the person is a dramatic gasp and we both turn to see Stark with one hand over his mouth.

"I'm going to break my promise." Bucky warns.

Stark glances between us and storms out of the room, shouting for all of the Avengers. Looking back at Bucky, there's a worried expression on his face. I lean forward and kiss him again.

"It will be fine." I mutter.

"Capsicle and the Transformer! Capsicle! Transformer!" I hear Tony shouting.

Taking Bucky's hand, I drag him out of the room and walk down the corridor. All of the Avengers, except Thor, are stood in the living room, all listening to Tony. Their eyes turn to us in the hallway, Tony stops talking to face us.
