"Baby Yuta is here," Taeil's hot breath laid over her cheek causing Ella to open her eyes.
She had fallen asleep on the couch while reading a Paris travel guide book, yes in her dreams she was walking around the Eiffel Tower where a beautiful man was giving her flowers, wait hasn't he had her fiancee's eyes.
"But if you're tired we will eat supper alone you can come anytime," Taeil placed the fluffy blanket further over her then leaned in kissing her forehead gently.
"What time is it?" Ella glanced around noticing it was already dark outside. She had just closed her eyes for a minute after her evening tutoring classes with the local kids.
"Don't worry, relax, if you want supper in bed I can bring it for my princess," Taeil caressed her cheek his gaze dreamy, yes he has always been watching her in that way since the early days of her high school when she was walking down the lake accompanied by a few friends, doing evening walks along the harbour where he had been helping to fix fisher boats or offering small village shore tripes on the very old boat he had owned back then.
She has always found it hard to look at him as he was causing a tingling feeling inside her. Yes and then in senior year when she thought she will skip prom he came to her house with a huge bouquet of roses to ask if she could consider taking him to prom as he was older, had finished high school a year before she had started it.
She was so overwhelmed she said yes, although her father had punished her with endless house work for it, he wanted her to go with a boy from her class, Doyoung, the son of the biggest boat company owner in the lake area.
Doyoung was always nice to her even till now, he was teaching English in the local school so they were meeting each day in the teachers room where he was sharing some cookies with her or doing the morning coffee for her. But he was a colleague from work nothing more, it was Taeil who had always made her heartbeat faster, like back then during the night when he came with his car drove her to the prom danced with her offered his jacket, he was a pure gentleman. They began to met on small dates, the dates becoming longer till she finished school. Taeil supported her idea to study French, but her father wanted her to marry rich right after school and become a house wife so Ella stood up to him. He said there's no way he will let her leave the house and go to the city where she will spoil the family's reputation, but Taeil came to him with his proposal. Her father was mad, he never accept but Ella saw her chance. She packed her things and moved over to Taeil accepting the ring with the small diamond that helped her to escape her father, especially as Taeil was open minded and kind, he accepted her will to stay a virgin till marriage, he supported her studies, he encouraged her to find the job as the teacher at school. Yes, he was an amazing man but lately he wanted to kiss her and Ella head to avoid him.
"I'll come soon," she said when Taeil leaned in but she moved her face into the pillow so he sighed gutting up.
She waited a bit until getting up then fixed her hair and glasses and walked to the kitchen were Yuta was sitting at the table with Taeil both eating some deliciously smelling dishes Taeil had definitely prepared when he had came back home.
"Hi Ella," Yuta smiled to her he was in a great mood he looked younger and fresher.
"Hi," she took a chair out sitting in some distance to Taeil then filled her plate.
"How are you guys? We need to do something as fun as rafting soon," Yuta grinned.
"I'll ask Ten he has a lot of ideas," Taeil laughed.
Ella avoided looking at him she rather observed Yuta who was a handsome man but let's be honest not as handsome as her Taeil.
Or was it just her the hopeless crush she had.
"Ok here's big news me and Sicheng are somehow dating," Yuta tapped the table top.
"What?" Ella dropped the dish bowl on the floor while both boys jumped up to help cleaning.
"The rags are in the cupboard right to the sink!" shouted Taeil as Yuta was closer to it.
"I'm sorry," whispered Ella but Taeil's arms closed around her his hot breath warming up the skin on her neck.
"Don't bother happens to the best, we'll clean it, you're tired I can see it."
Ella shivered when Taeil let go of her hurrying to grab the rags from Yuta to clean the mess.
If it has happened in her home her father would shout at her for being clumsy and not worth a thing.
She watched how the two boys were working quickly.
"I can help," she whispered.
"Sit down and relax, you're a princess remember," Taeil pecked her cheek while hurrying around the table to the sink. He walked to Yuta who grinned wider.
"You have an amazing man by your side Ella," said Yuta.
"I know," Ella blushed harder when she sat down waiting till they were done cleaning.
Their moods were as bright as before when Taeil and Yuta sat at the table.
"So tell me about you and Sicheng," said Taeil looking at his friend.
"I kissed him," said Yuta grinning wider.
"Now way!" Ella covered her mouth in shock.
