"I actually came to ask if you'd like to come for the karaoke night in the local pub, but now I don't want to go with you," said Mark looking at Donghyuck darkly.

"It's better than sitting at home," muttered Yuta leaning the lamp against a wall turning to them.

"I'd rather sit at home than spend an evening with him, he's a psycho stalker, he is annoying me all day every day at school!" Donghyuck turned to Yuta.

"I'd go," Yuta shrugged.

"Actually, for us to go you have to come with us, you have to be eighteen to be let in, but if we're with someone who is the legal age they'll let us in," muttered Mark.

"What kind of people are coming there?"

"Yuta please!" protested Donghyuck.

"The village elders, men who want to have a calm evening and a beer, my grandfather for example," said Mark.

"Sounds like a lot of fun," Yuta winked to Donghyuck.

"You said you'd like to go," Donghyuck kept his stare.

"Ah!" Yuta groaned. "Ok I'll change into something better," he ran upstairs when Donghyuck was watching Mark through the corridor his insides filling with hate, his foot was still hurting a lot, but soon Yuta came  back, he told the boys to jump on the backset of his car so Donghyuck moved as far from Mark as possible, when he caught Mark's secret glances tossed his way.

What had he done wrongly to deserve this boy, he was asking himself the whole ride to a small lit up pub located on a ground floor of a private house that was a little further from the village centre.

Yuta's car was the only one on the small car park so Donghyuck sighed, it will be another terrible night, he would prefer to be all alone in his room, browse the internet, watch movies or practice guitar.

"Ok let's go in," Yuta moved the hood over his head then pushed the door open. Donghyuck was walking behind him and Mark with his head low. He saw a very small place with a wooden bar a few round tables and about nine guys, each could definitely be Mark's grandfather, all talking sipping beer, while two other were singing a very old song wrongly on a tiny stage.

"Priceless," muttered Yuta letting the hood down, Donghyuck saw the boy had relaxed, he knew they won't definitely be recognized here.

"Boys, it's above eighteen," said the barkeeper when all heads turned their way.

"I'm twenty one," muttered Yuta walking to the bar. "Couldn't leave my brother and his best friend home alone they were trying to demolish each other you know, puberty," Yuta sighed walking to the man. "A beer for me and cola for these two vagabonds," he placed some bank notes on the bar.

Donghyuck caught the strange stares on them but some of the men smiled watching them in a nice way.

"My grandchildren are like that so I understand," muttered the barkeeper giving Yuta the change.

"Boys you can join," said a man pointing at three empty chairs at the corner.

Donghyuck glanced at Mark who turned this way so he did too.

"Heachan at least help me!" Yuta raised his voice but Mark jumped up to help Yuta carry the drinks. "You're so lazy honestly," Yuta sighed when he placed the beer on the table while Mark served Donghyuck his coke in a waiter like way.

"Have you spat into it on the way here?" asked Donghyuck leaning above the drink.

"Nah but you can spit into mine if you like," Mark winked.

"Argh! What's wrong with you man?" Donghyuck moved his chair as far from Mark as possible without hitting the wall.

Yuta seemed very amused watching them.

"I'm Frank," said the man who had invited them stretching his hand out to Yuta.

"Kid," Yuta smiled widely. "This is my bro Heachan and his friend Mark"

"Classmate not friend," corrected Donghyuck.

"Mark is a local kid, your grandad is coming here a lot. Where have you lost your best friend Sicheng? You know Kid, Mark's friend, this boy is called Rose Valley's angel for a reason," Frank smiled widely when Yuta's cheeks went totally red at the name of his boyfriend, yes Donghyuck hoped Sicheng was Yuta's boyfriend by now.

"I know," Yuta lowered his head. "Sicheng is amazing."

"Hah everyone knows Sicheng right, he's our let's stay tourist attraction," Frank giggled.

"And I'm his best friend," Mark raised his head proudly.

"So cheers for our new village citizens," Frank raised his glass pointing to Yuta who took a large sip from his beer.

The next man came on stage, his voice was trembling a lot when he was singing a ballad about lost love while Donghyuck was giving Yuta signs to leave especially as Mark has moved his chair two inches closer to his and he had no more space to escape, his side was touching the wall already.

But Yuta seemed to enjoy his beer, the conversation about life in Rose Valley and past romances with Frank, Donghyuck was over when Mark tried to steal and hide a napkin with his straw.

The guys fortunately became tired of singing so there was a pause in the karaoke.

"Maybe I'll show something," Mark jumped up running to the man with thick glasses who was playing the slides on a very ancient projector.

He was talking to the man for a moment than came back with a cloudy face.

"They don't have any song I know," he muttered.

"They don't have any song I know," he muttered
