Yuta was sipping the rests of the bubbles at the bottom of his beer glass when the phone behind the bar rang. There were only them, the karaoke guy and the barkeeper left. Donghyuck raised his head from his phone screen, where he has been reading comments from worried fans while he was trying to ignore Mark's existence completely.

"Yes...yes...ok...yes," the barkeeper finished the conversation then placed the handset back.

"And?" asked Yuta looking his way.

"They're back, they had found the tourists, everyone's safely back in the harbour," said the man inhaling loudly. "Looks like Ella has been out wth Taeil tonight, they also helped the coastal guard to catch some lake pirates."

"Wow!" Donghyuck glanced from Yuta to the man.

"I knew Taeil will manage," muttered Mark grinning widely playing it cool as if he hadn't been biting up all his nails in the last two hours.

"Let's go home," muttered Yuta raising from his chair.

"Can't you give a little performance?" asked Mark looking at them with hope.

"No" said Yuta sharply.

"Ey these two guys here don't even now how to use a mobile phone they will have no idea who you are, please please one song!" begged Mark.

Yuta looked towards the little stage when Donghyck begged him to not to fulfil Mark's wish in his mind.

"Actually one song can be good. My we perform?" asked Yuta walking to the stage when Donghyuck swore in his head.

"But I had packed the projector" stuttered the karaoke guy.

"But there's a guitar here," Yuta pointed at the old guitar hanging on the wall Donghyuck wasn't even sure if it will be possible to tune it.

"This one doesn't work young man, but I'm playing from time to time I can give you mine," the bar keeper opened a door behind the bar running out, he came back carrying a guitar case he gave to Yuta.

The boy thanked taking it on stage when Mark started to fangirl next to Donghyuck.

"Come," Yuta pointed to the boy.

"Really?" Donghyuck sighed but moved up, he walked to the stage, opened the case to find a kind of ok looking middle class instrument in it, so he grabbed a pick then tuned it.

"What are we playing?" he asked when he sat on a chair Yuta moved on stage for him.

"Mark what would you like to hear?"

"Everything," whispered Mark his eyes all big. "I mean it's up to you guys."

"Haechan," Yuta looked at Donghyuck.

"Midnight song?" asked Donghyuck.

"They will fall asleep we need to wake them up," Yuta grinned.

"It's an acoustic guitar," whispered Donghyuck.

"You could rock the house on a banjo with one string so stop complaining," Yuta tapped his shoulder.

"Time travel without space?" asked Donghyuck giving him the first chord making a few warming up scales up and down the guitar.

"Wow the kid has speed in his fingers," said the barkeeper.

"Ihihihiiiii!" squealed Mark but Donghyuck ignored.

He felt a tingling in his stomach, his butterflies waking up, he could simply close his eyes and hear the fan chants on the stadium, feel into the atmosphere of thousands of light sticks being raised in the darkness.

He played the acoustic version in an upbeat tempo of their third single from the first album when Yuta grabbed the microphone, his voice filling the room.

'Fanatics like me

never use the same side of the bed to wake up

never put the left sock on the right side

never touch the rain with the usual umbrella

never take a the subway during a rush hour

Bitchy pieces of destruction like me

never come to work

never have a job

never finish school

never walk along his mum's house

never crush for good girls

never count in less than bottles

never just make love

Storm without a lightning

bulb out of electricity

bathtub on a highway

candles on shoestrings

boomerang in space

while you're dressed in just me

You and me we're dancing

you're taking the night of all planets

we're dancing

We're dancing

as nothing has ever been planned

we're dancing

we're dancing

we can as well end up in my place

we're dating

we're dancing

Let's make a time travel without space, without space.'

Donghyuck was so lost in his play, he became one with the music, he was tapping his foot to the rhythm, humming some background vocals to Yuta's chorus, the crazy avant-garde song Yuta had written over four years ago.
