Chapter 11

Maddie's POV

"Then why are you still here?! Go to your man," Catie says, reaching over and playfully pushing my shoulder.

"Okay, okay," I laugh.

I stand up and hug her before going out the door. I go back to the hotel, and when I go through the lobby doors and see Hayley and Gabby starting to leave. They both stop walking and look at me. Hayley opens her mouth to speak.

"No," I say, "I don't like you. I don't trust you. And I definitely do not want to talk to you," I then look to Gabby, "and you? I thought you were my friend, Gabby. You tried to help her take my boyfriend. You're no better than her."

I walk past them and to the elevator. I press the elevator button and as I'm waiting, I turn around and look at Hayley, "And by the way, I will never let you come between Caleb and I ever again."

The elevator dings and I step inside. When I reach our floor I step out and go to Caleb's door. I knock lightly and he quickly opens it.

He looks shocked when he sees me, "Maddie?"

I don't say anything. I only step forward and press my lips against his. I pull back and smile, "I love you, Caleb. I'm sorry."

"Hey, you don't have anything to be sorry for," he says, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I kissed Hayley, I'm sorry that I made you think-"

"Stop," I smile at him, "Let's just put all of that behind us, okay? Let's not think about that anymore."

"I love you with all of my heart," he smiles back, "you are the only one for me. You are the one that I'm meant to love for my whole life."

I lean forward and kiss him again. When I pull away I put my arms around his neck as he puts his hands on my waist. He stares deep into my eyes as I stare back. I smile, "I won't ever let anyone come between us again."
