Chapter 12 - A simple love with a complex touch

~ A couple of weeks later ~

'Kaylynn I'm home!' Adam yelled after he closed the front door. I yelled back at him that I was in the kitchen making dinner. The last couple of weeks had been an amazing time. Adam and I had had the best time together. I felt like we were just a normal couple like you would see in the movies or read about in books. Except we were a little different due to Adam being famous but that didn't matter to me.

Adam had to go to the studios almost every day because Maroon 5 was making a new album. Whenever Adam was away I would do all these kind of chores around the house. I wanted to do other stuff like work or go out and meet my friends. But because of the impact of the accident I still didn't have all my energy back. Most of the times I would have to go back to bed or lay down on the sofa around 2 PM. So although I really wanted to leave the house, my body wouldn't allow me. The other problem was that Adam and I couldn't go out as a couple either, because we hadn't really told anyone that we were back dating each other. So most of the time we would lay on the sofa watching movies or binge watch some series. For some people this would sound a bit boring. But for me this was perfect. Not only because of my low energy level but also because Adam and I couldn't really be seen in public. We hadn't really told anyone that we were dating again and we both didn't really felt like telling the media about everything.

Since I had been back with Adam I hadn't talked to my family at all. They tried calling a couple of times, but after a couple of days they stopped bothering me. Without having my family and with Adam being away so much I felt lonely sometiimes. I didn't really have anyone around here. When I first moved in with Adam, I left all my friends back home. Because Adam and I were together so much in the beginning of our relationship I didn't really have the time to meet other people. I would go to premieres and parties with him and meet some people there but I never met anyone who I would become friends with. I used to have more friends when I still lived at home. But when I left home, I realized that many people of whom I thought were my friend weren't really there for me. The only friend I had left was Riley. But the last time we talked wasn't really a good talk either.

I woke up from Adam talking to someone. Well actually annoyingly yelling at someone. I openend my eyes and realized I had fallen asleep in Adam his arms on the sofa. When I looked again I saw Adam wasn't yelling at someone, but yelling at his laptop.

'Oh hey sleepy head. You fell asleep again,' He said to me when he realized I had woken up. I looked at the scream and saw Adam watching 'Orange Is The New Black'.

'Hey, we were watching that together. Don't tell me you have watched a part without me,' I told him angrily. Adam looked at me ashamed and paused the episode.

'Well you've only missed like fifteen minutes or so,' He said to me.

'I don't care how much I've missed. You can just rewind the episode and start of from were I fell asleep. And if I fall asleep again, then you can just pause the episode or wake me up. You made a promise to me that we would watch this series together. And yes I am very serious about this,' I told him when I saw him laughing at me. When he wouldn't stop laughing at me for my outburst, I sat up and threw a pillow at him.

'I hate you,' I yelled at him causing him to even laugh more at me.

Yes this were typical evenings for me now. And I loved them. Adam and I were acting like a typical couple again. We were acting just like we used to act before the accident.

When I woke up the next day Adam was already gone. I was glad when they were done working on their album. But on the other hand I liked being alone. I still had to reorganize my thoughts sometimes.

After eating breakfast and getting dressed I decided to text Riley. I didn't know if she still wanted to speak to me. But it was worth giving it a shot.

'Hey girl, how are you doing? I'm sorry for not speaking to you for this long but I just wanted to knnow if you wanted meet up with me some time again? Please text me back' I know it sounded a bit desperate. But I really wanted her to talk to me again. I put my phone down and turned the television on. Trying not to look at my phone every five minutes.

After twenty minutes I couldn't wait no longer and looked at my phone. Relieved to see that I had recieved a text message.

'Well, you finally decided to text back. How nice. But I've been fine if you wanted to know Kay. And yes if you want talk with me you can. But don't become mad at me if I start again about how bad Adam is.' The text read.

Well that's something, I thought. I still couldn't imagine why Riley hated Adam so much. But I decided to text her back to meet up with her. We agreed on meeting up tomorrow afternoon. After that I decided to clean up the house a little bit.

I was done folding the laundry and wanted to put it away in Adam his closet. After picking up all his underwear I walked over to his drawer and put them away. After closing the drawer I could hear something hard bumping into the back wall of the drawer. Curiosity took the overhand of me and I opened the drawer again. I was glad that no one saw me because it looked a bit weird how I was digging trough my boyfriend his underwear looking for something.

Finally I found something. When I picked it up I found out it was a smartphone. At first I thought it was some sort of second phone of Adam. But when I flipped the screen on and I saw the background picture I realized it wasn't his phone. It had been my phone.

But how, Adam said my phone had died during the accident. That's why I have an old phone of Adam. What was Adam hiding from me?

I'm sorry this chapter is so boring guys... I'm just don't have any inspiration...

And yes I had to use OITNB, because that show is just awesome!! I don't own anything btw..
