Okay so let's start from the beginning. Where the adventures started. I was sitting at home, in my bed, scrolling through my social media, on my phone, like any other typical teenager. I got a new notification on Facebook, so I went to check it. My mom shared the E-Free churches youth group post. E-Free is a big church that I used to go to when I was younger. I haven't been to the church in forever. Mostly because my dad and step mom are not Christians. My mom also recently fell in the back yard and broke her ankle in three different places, so she can't drive. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't because her ex-boyfriend took all rights to the car. She also says she's antisocial. I think part of it has to do with my aunt Lori dying. That's where they had her funeral. My aunt Lori was an amazing person. A ton of people showed up at her funeral. I was told that her, my uncle Matt, and my memaw practically raised me. She was the Christian I looked up to while growing up. We'd watch Disney movies all the time. She loved the song part of your world so much from The Little mermaid Disney movie, that they played it at her funeral. She was really good at singing too. She used to sing at the church when I was younger too. The song save my life by sidewalk prophets was also played at her funeral. I listen to it when I miss her.... So, the post said that the youth group was having pizza tonight. Oh my mom knows me. I don't like pizza. I LOVE PIZZA. Ask anyone. I'll do anything to get pizza. Well almost everything.

I was so nervous when I was sitting in the truck while my step mom was driving toward the church. What if I didn't have any friends there? I secretly wanted my step mom to turn the truck around and head us back home, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want her to get mad for wasting gas. We finally arrived and I just walked in trying to breathe. I walk in the gym and there is two games set up. Ha nope. I hate games. Hated them since 2nd grade. In 2nd grade my step mom forced me to play soft ball. The girls hated me for some reason. The girls on my team. They would bully me. Laughed at me and everything I did. The last game it hit me too hard and I cried and I couldn't stop. I guess have I hated games ever since...
I went to the bathroom to waste time. The time wasn't long enough. I walked into the gym slowly. I saw some people I knew. Eden, Isaac, Ashlyn, Seth, and Conrad. They all wanted to play games though. I walked to the end of the gym, when this girl with blonde hair and natural brown high lights came up to me.

"Hey my name is Ashleigh, what's your name?"

     "Um... Allison."

"Hi Allison. You should come play games with us. I was nervous my first time too."

I just shook my head, and she walked away. I started to play on my phone until we went in the youth room for the lesson. I just sat with Eden until it was over. On the way home, I kinda felt happy and hopeful. That something good was going to happen.
