Today at school, in math class, we did a class challenge. In choir, Mr. Reed said that we didn't have enough for auditions, so he picked 4 people to sing the national anthem. I wanted to audition. I didn't get picked. Well the national anthem is for our school veterans day assembly. In science, we ran Halloween chemical reaction science experiments for the 7th graders. The exploding pumpkin scared me just like it did when I was in 7th grade last year. In Spanish class, I was working on a project with Seth. We had to write a paragraph in Spanish. I came up with the sentence, yo no entiendo Seth. I stole his chair and it was funny. Nothing much happened in seminar and at recess. In ELA, we started watching Big Hero 6. History was boring as usual.

When I got home, I had to talk to a CPS lady about my mom. We talked in her car. She said that I had good speech and that I was smart. When I was done talking to her, I started getting ready for tonight. Ashleigh and I are hanging out tonight at harvest fest at our church. Harvest fest is a thing my church puts on for Halloween. You can play games and win candy. It takes place in the church gym. A lot of parents do it because thy don't want their kids to freeze in this northern Michigan weather. I think part of the reason why parents brought their kids was because of the clown stuff on social media. My aunt Cindy drove me to the church and she is hanging out with her new boyfriend and his son. I spotted Ashleigh a couple minutes after I walked in. We walked to the other end of the gym to play the games on that end of the gym. Seth and Isaiah were running one of those games. Seth was in a scientist costume and Isaiah was in an Indian costume. Ashleigh and I didn't dress up. Ashleigh forced me to play their game and I failed. A lot. I saw my old gym teacher, Mrs.Cerack, from intermediate school, so I was happy bout that. I don't get to see her much since I'm in the middle school. I also saw Mr.Reed and gave him a hug. I also introduced him to Ashleigh. Eden was there too. She was talking to this dude with a German accent. Ashleigh compared my height with her brother Logans. Seth laughed because her brother is 10 and is almost as tall as me. When I was about to leave, I had Ashleigh come with me to say goodbye to the boys.

"Yo no entiendo Seth y Isaiah. ¡Choa!"

Ashleigh asked, "isn't that a French word?"

     "No, its bye in Spanish,"

"Stop speaking Spanish. I don't know any of it."

Then that's when Seth said, "El burro se más que tú" to Ashleigh which is supposed to translate to, "the donkey is smarter than you" in English.
