Dear lovely readers,
When we began writing this story, we were three little seventh graders. Shayla, Jodi, and a Lindsey (yes, our real names); young, innocent girls who were joint at the hip and very obsessed with Percy Jackson.
In eighth grade, our love of a new TV series, Miraculous Ladybug, hit. That is when we began writing our Miraculous-inspired story on miraculousnessandall.
Our freshman year, we all were suddenly busier; still extremely close, but with less free time to write our stories.
At the beginning of our sophomore year, our friendship with Lindsey ended.
Everything ended on good terms, but it became awkward between us when we tried to speak. We have since lost contact with each other.
During this year, our dear friend, Courtney ( courtnxyblue ), author of The Addition, took over Lindsey's roles in our stories. We changed names and began to fit her in for editing.
Now, we are preparing to enter our junior year of high school. While Percy Jackson still holds a special place in our hearts, we have lost the wild obsession that we once had as twelve year olds. This brings us to our announcement; we have made an executive decision to stop writing this story, leaving it unfinished.
This decision is not sudden; we have debated ending this story for months. Jodi and I love this story dearly- it was our first joint story and holds so many memories for us.
We will not be deleting this story or account. While it is undecided if we will finish editing this story, for now it seems that it will remain how it is.
Finish our story however you desire. Let your imaginations run wild. And above all, stay cool, demigods. This story would not have come as far as it has without you. We love and adore all of you; thank you for your never-ending support.
Love,
Kelp Face, Sparky, the Brain, and Sparks
