I'm so sorry for the late chapter but like I said on my conversation wall, I've been really busy lately.
I hope this chapter makes up for the wait.
Enjoy

J'onn's POV

I guess I'll have to contact Kara through the comm that she took when she came to the DEO earlier. I think to myself as I take another one of the comms to contact her.

"Supergirl? Can you hear me?" I ask through the comms.

A very quiet sound of dramatic music could be heard through the comms before Kara spoke up."Did you find Alex?" She asks.

"Yes we found her... ."I answer.

"Where is she? Is she okay?"Kara asks anxiously.

"She's at Lena’s, and don't worry she's alive and well." I reply trying to calm her.

"I'll go get her right away." Kara says before she flys off to get Alex.

"I turn off the comm before taking my phone and calling Alex and she immediately answers."Alex, thought I'd let ya know that Kara is on her way to get you."

"Thank you, J'onn....I'ma go get ready, bye." She says ending the call.

Kara's pov

I couldn't find any signs of her anywhere, so I resulted to leaving no place unsearched and found myself in the cinemas. Disguised with my glassed, a long brown wig, and big scarf that covered most of my face, I was scanning the area.

(Warning Avengers Infinity War spoilers ahead!! I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN IT'S SAFE TO START READING.)

Slightly distracted I look up at the screen where the Avengers Infinity War movie was playing, it was the scene where Thanos is about to throw Gamora off the cliff, to sacrifice his daughter for the soul stone. I was in tears as Gamora yelled at Thanos while she struggled to get away from him. The scene was so sad.

Before I know it I'm face first on the FLOOR. "OWW that hurt." I say to myself, not that I really hurt myself.
"They should really try harder to make these stairs more visible."

"Supergirl can you hear me?" I hear in my ear remembering the comms I had put in.

Before the caller, J'onn, could say anything I start asking hoping for some good news. "Did you find Alex?"

To my relief his answer was yes.
But before I could relax I had to make sure she was OK. "Where is she? Is she ok??" I ask hoping once again for a good answer.

"She's at Lena's and don't worry she's alive and well." His calm voice reassures me everything is OK.

"I'll go get her right away." I say rushing off.

Once outside after making sure no one was around I immediately removed my scarf, wig, and glasses, before flying to Lena’s place.

Hopefully she hasn't moved to another place or I would be in alot of trouble. I think to myself as I land on supposably Lena’s apartment balcony.

I look inside through the window and see Alex sitting on an couch watching TV but Lena was nowhere in sight.

She's probably already at work. I think to myself as I knock on the Glass door.

Alex immediately jumps up once she sees me and she comes rushing to the door to open it. That's when I noticed the cast on her arm and some cuts here and there.

"Oh Kara I thought I was just dreaming!" Alex exclaims after she has opened the door and flung herself at me pulling me into a one armed hug.

"Don't worry it wasn't a dream.. What we need to worry about is your injuries, how did this happen?" I ask gesturing to her arm which had the cast on.

"Oh ummmmm.... It was just a minor car accident where I stepped onto the road and got hit by a car...." She says sheepishly.

"WHAT??!!! JUST A MINOR ACCIDENT?!!" I ask my tone louder than intended.

"It really isn't as bad as it sounds Kar... Besides you should see the other guy." Alex says jokingly as she trys to lighten my mood.

Suddenly the door swings open as Lena enters the room, she looked to have just finished a phone call. "Alex are you hallucinating again." She asks with a tone of empathy as she looks up from her phone.

She drops the phone and covers her mouth in shock to see me. The phone crashes to the ground shattering.

"K.. K.. Kara is that really you?" she asks stuttering. I don't know how to answer.. I lean in to give her a hug. Cause you know.. A hug can say a thousand words.

She wraps her arms around me too. I can feel the tears on my shoulder soon enough I was crying too. "You died... I saw you in the coffin, I saw them bury you.How are you alive? How is it possible?" She asks among her tears.

"It's umm.. A long story I'll be sure to catch you up on it,  promise." I say honestly, I just didn't know how to describe everyhing at that moment, I was too flustered.

I slowly pull way from the hug to look her in the eyes. I notice fresh cuts on the right side of her face and I raise my hand to gently stork the cuts with my fingers. She winces slightly at the contact but quickly accepts the comforting contact.

"What happened?" I ask her, finally finding my voice.

"Last night's accident." Alex says from behind me.

"How?" I ask with confusion, as I turn to look at Alex.

"She was the one driving the car but it's not her fault, I came out of nowhere!" Alex replies.

I look back at Lena and then hug her again. "Know it's not you're fault, because it's you, Lena, the world doesn't deserve you."
