Gee transferred classes so now we get to see each other a lot more. He walks home with me every day after school and spends an hour at my house before going home. Momma loves that he's back in our lives. Not as much as I do, though.
And that's because I know exactly where I'd be without him.
Momma taught me manners, school taught me education, and Gee taught me emotions.
Life isn't nice, or fun, or good or safe. Gee taught me that. But he also taught me how to get around that.
I love Gee.
Gee loves me back.
This time, I know I'm not fooling myself.
