The school guidance counselor talked to me today. He said it was to "check in and make sure I'm doing okay". I told him I was fine, but he didn't seem to believe me. After a little talking I was final able to convince him I was telling the truth, which I was! Lying is bad, and I'm not bad. But he still wanted to meet with Momma. I told him fine, just wanting to leave. He said I could, so I did. I ran into Jamia and Ryan on the way out.

"Oh, hey Frank." Jamia greeted me. Ryan stayed quiet.

"Hello." I said, my face blank.

"We're sneaking out," Jamia whispered, "wanna come?"

My eyes widened, sneaking out of school? But that's bad! I guess I should know now that my "friends" aren't above doing bad things. I shook my head.

"Alright, your loss. C'mon Ryan."

We parted.
