Gee told me today he had a crush on a boy.
"Don't you mean you have a crush on a girl?" I asked, but he said no, it was a boy.
"I didn't know boys could have crushes on boys."
"Oh, well they can." Gee's face dropped a little bit as he said that.
"That seems weird."
"Why?"
"It's not normal."
"Crushes are normal. The gender doesn't matter."
"Oh..." I thought about it. Even though it wasn't normal, I couldn't see how it could be bad. "Okay then!"
Gee smiled. I smiled back. Gee called me different, but really he's the different one. But I like his different too, just like how he said he liked mine.
