I told Momma about Gee today. She said she was happy I made another friend. But then I told her about how he was funny, how he was strange and different. I told her he moved here, and that he thought my other friends weren't nice.
Momma didn't like that.
She said he was silly, just silly, because no one is different and no one is strange and no one is new. I tried telling her I liked his quirky personality, but she wouldn't listen. She said I could still hang out with him, but that I shouldn't let him influence me in any way. I told her that could never happen, and she replied with a simple "I know." Then I had to go do my homework.
