Jay's POV

My nerves were completely out of whack as I sat nervously tapping my feet on the ground. I sat on the same room where Sabrina and John told me about my parents. The memory crossed my mind and I smiled to myself. I was supposed to meet Luna here, it'd been a week since our fight and we hadn't spoken much. It was almost like she was mad at me for something that was much more severe than our argument. Whatever the case was, I wanted to talk to her about the curse and what we should do. It had been on my mind non-stop for the last couple days so I decided to talk to Luna about it.

I looked towards the door only to find that she still wasn't there. I'd been waiting here for a little over an hour now, and to say I was bored would be an understatement. To be honest, I was much to nervous to do anything but wait. I heard footsteps in the hallway and I jumped to my feet. I made my way to the door to find John walking in the halls.

"Jason, what brings you upstairs?" John questioned me. I shrug not wanting to get into it with him.

"I just wanted to talk to Luna, by the way, have you seen her? She was supposed to meet me here an hour ago." I try to hide my annoyance but it may have slipped through a bit.

"Nope, haven't seen her all day. She probably has a good reason though. Luna's a good kid." John rambled, adding the 'good kid' part as a side note. I roll my eyes even though inside I'm freaking out because she's still not here.

"Thanks John." I mutter and he walks away. I plop back onto the chair I was in before. I don't even know why she's avoiding me. I mean, our fight wasn't even technically a fight, right? I was just unfocussed, nothing important enough to avoid me like a serial killer. My thought process is so messed up right now it isn't funny.

After two hours of siting there I fall asleep. At around mid-night I'm woken up to the sound of something breaking. I jump up and run downstairs only to see Luna sprawled out on the floor with a glass plate shattered in front of her. I wordlessly start picking up pieces of glass.

"What the hell were you doing?" I question Luna. Frustration clear in my voice from waiting for her for three freakin' hours! Three hours! For crying out loud, who does that?

"Why does it concern you?" Luna growls looking down at the floor. "You don't own me Jason." I'm fully aware! I may not own Luna, but she's my mate and I want to do everything in my power to keep her safe. Even if that means prying into her personal life.

"If I did maybe you would have come to talk to me today instead of ditching me. I waited three hours for you to come! Three flippin' hours!" I exclaim concentrating in picking up glass. The hand that has the glass in it clenches and pain shoots through my hand. I look down to see blood start to bleed out of my hand. Great.

"Shouldn't have clenched your fists..." Luna trailed off. I narrowed my eyes and ignored the cut. It'll go away, right? I reach for another piece only to get my hand shoved away by Luna. "You should get that cleaned up." Luna advises me. I can feel my body shaking with anger.

"Don't worry about me." I growl. By now the blood has dripped off of my hand and onto the floor, it also hurts like a bitch!

"What's going on down here?" John's tired voice asks us. I turn my head to see him stumbling down the stairs half asleep. He glances between Luna and I as he eyes grow huge. "Jason don't be an idiot. Clean up the blood."

"I'm fine John. Go back to bed." I order him. He laughs at me seeming more awake now.

"Luna, tell your mate to stop being an idiot and clean up his hand." John says.

"I don't need to listen to her. She sure as hell has no power over me." I state looking away from John. Luna says quiet and remains laying on the floor.
