*Sorry The spacing is really weird*
Jay's POV
I stood at the edge of the clearing just waiting for Luke to arrive. My heart raced as I thought over my plan, it may be incredibly bad but it might work. I just want this mess over with so I can be with Luna again. My thoughts drifted over to what happened three days ago and a smile found its way onto my face. It was, honestly, the best day of my life.
The sudden crunch of leaves had me scanning the area for Luke once again. I was terrified that my plan wouldn't work and I'd end up dead before the end of the night. The sun had set a little over an hour ago, leaving the field in front of me pitch black. It had been arranged by Luke's stupid Beta that we had the fight here instead of at the pack house. Casey tried to reason with Luke and get him to back down, but his stupid pride made him refuse Casey's plea. Sabrina had come around too and begged for us to surrender. I already knew I couldn't do that but yet, it had to be timed perfectly.
'Are you nervous?' Luna's beautiful voice filled my head. I smiled but on the inside I was freaking out!
'I'm fine baby, don't worry about me.' I assured her as I saw a group of six to seven men walk out the other side of the field. The field was perfectly covered by trees so we could get away with fighting in wolf form. I just hoped that I could prevent us from actually having the fight.
'Jason, I have something important to tell you.' Luna told me sounding nervous. From my view of the field I could see Casey and Luke entering from behind their 'guards'.
'Luna, I'm sorry but I got to go. Luke just arrived.' My eyes didn't leave Luke as he walked to the center of the field. He scanned the area but didn't see me. Casey hung her head low and avoided looking at Luke. Sabrina and John had also come to the fight but they'd stood at the very edge where Luke and Casey entered.
'Jason! This is urgent!' Luna exclaimed. I shut my eyes and tried to focus on the plan. I needed to do this without any distractions.
'Luna this isn't the right time!' I tried to tell her but she wouldn't have any of it.
'Jason! You listen to me and you listen good!' I hated to do this but it was my only option, I blocked her from my mind . Guilt instantly rushed through me but I didn't have time to focus on that at the moment.
"Show yourself!" Luke shouted. I took a deep breath and came out from behind the bushes I was hiding in. I walked over to where Luke and his gang were and looked over at Casey. She looked up at me with pleading eyes that told me not to do this. I shook my head and focused on Luke. His dark hair was neat as usual and his eyes looked calm, as if he knew he'd win.
"Casey, Luke." I nodded my head at them greeting them. Luke's clothes were nothing out of the ordinary, a black t-shirt and black pants. He wasn't overly fond of colors, or so I assumed.
"Jason, don't do this son." Casey begged me as she held her arms out, stepping forward to hug me. Luke restricted her by flinging his arm across her body. Tears fell from her eyes as she brought her arms to her face. Luke glared at me with such hatred that it sent chills down my back.
"Casey don't do this now. We have some business to attend to, isn't that right Jason?" Luke snarled as he said my name. Almost like saying it was unholy or something.
