"Just give me a chance." He said as I packed my bags.

"I already did. Four times, don't you remember?" I zip up my bags.

"I won't blow it again." He said with his fingers crossed.

But he forgot about the mirror behind him, I'm done with plastic promises.

"Please don't tell me that we're fine! I've got too much on my mind!" I scream, roommates coming to see the commotion.

"Isn't this too plain to see? Maybe. Cause we've lost too much to gain!" I yell.

"We were dancing in the rain. Tell me what am I supposed to do with a double dose of you!" I scream causing roommates to flinch.

I walked to my car and put my stuff in, and drove off.

His lips are the gun.

And his tongue are the bullets.

He could save a live.

But he took mine away instead.

I gave in my all.

So don't call me a quitter.

And I've swear I've tried to many times before but,

I'm done with plastic promises.

I answered his call.

"Don't try to defy or even make an attempt."

"My blinders are off and I'm running again from you."

"Am I ok? Am I ok? I know I'll be okay."

"Are you ready?" I yell.

"Yes, yell at me I deserve it."

"So here we go, I know, you'd kill for everything to stay the same way in vain.

We've had to go our separate ways.

When you proved me that you would never change.

I finally woke up and exclaimed
That I'm done with these plastic promises."

"Baby please." He attempted.

"Please don't tell me that we're fine, we're not."

"I've got too much on my mind.
Isn't this too plain to see? Maybe."

"Cause we've lost too much to gain, we were dancing in the rain."

"tell me what am I supposed to do with a double dose of with a double dose of you?"

And with that I hung up the phone and drive back to Kansas.
