Scarlet Price: The Forgotten

Chapter 3

Scarlet POV*

Getting back home I pulled into the yard and the second I stepped out my car I was pushed to the ground and attacked by a group of rouge vampire's that happened to be passing threw.  Seeing as I don't drink the blood of human's the cut's and bruises I got when they hit, kicked or cut me slowly started to heal.  I was able to use my power's to get away and when I saw they had left I cleaned up my cuts. looking in the mirror I realized I couldn't go into work looking like a rapped up mummy.  so instead I drunk a few bags of animal's blood that helped the bleeding stop and me to heal a little faster and when back out the next day to pick up food and more first aid thing's but as I got to the car my injury's now healed I went to put my bags with a few thing's for the shop in the car when I noticed a guy  walking passed me only to be grabbed from behind gasping he slapped a hand over my mouth.

"Give me your money and car key's then you can go."He said but as his gun was pushed further into my back a finger was cut on one my fangs causing his blood to drop in my mouth. Having never tasted human blood in year's I lost my senses and killed the man draining his blood.

After the rush went away is when I finally went back to work.  When I walked in the store was barely open but there was still a few people in there, a few human's.  I made my way to the back as quickly as I could without touching anyone, I din't even notice Kai and the other's at the booth watching me until a first time clumsy accident ten minutes later.

Kai POV*

It had been three day's and at this point I and everyone else was beyond worried about Scarlet when she suddenly slipped in the door catching my attention then the guy's.  We watched as Scarlet almost ran into the kitchen looking like she was avoiding everyone as her long flat hair was down kind of a big change from her normal ponytail as she didn't even look around and seem to notice us.  A few minutes later Scarlet came out with a tray of cakes looking over a notepad before she went to a table with a odd look.  As she got to the table I jumped up along with Max as we saw Scarlet trip trying to not touch or bump into a girl getting up walking passed her.  A yelp left Scarlet as the tray fell along with her.

"I-Im sorry guy's!" She said as the people saw her fall.  Getting to her side I checked her while Max started picking up the thing's from the tray glancing at her.

"Scarlet are you okay?!  Are you hurt?" I Asked looking at her while she avoided everyone's stair and question's when Carmilia pushed passed a few people taking her other arm helping her up with me.

"Kai let's take her to the back ."

"Guy's im fine!" Scarlet hissed at us as we walked into the kitchen followed by Max as Alex and Genie came around the corner of the kitchen.  The second Scarlet looked at us we all gasped while Max jumped dropping the tray again. Scarlet's eyes was a burning dark red and her fangs was out but her face was more scared than mad.

"Scarlet Price your starving aren't you?!" Alex Said looking her in the eyes before she looked at Carmilia.

"Milia I don't know what is happening to me." It was the first time any of us saw her afraid.

"Just tell me what happened."She said softly while going to take Scarlet's hand but jumped with uncontrollable speed to the other side of the kitchen only to fall on the floor.

"I can't..."She said shaking her head while sitting on the floor.

"Of course you can tell us sweetie we are your friends.  We are family." Alex said walking up to her and sitting next to her but not touching Scarlet as a cut on her arm healed it's self on the stop after she got it.
