Scarlet Price: The Forgotten

Chapter 7

Scarlet POV*

"That loop scared the hell out of me guys." I said laughing with my hand on my heart as I took a breath. Right now Emilio, Ace, and I are walking through what looks like a practice field. Emil was now shifted but Ace was still a dragon with me on his back. I rather walk but they swear it was for safety matters so if something was to happen Ace could just fly off. From what I could learn so far, Emilio is the youngest out of all the guys followed by Peter, Carmilia, Maxi, Kai, Max and Ace. They followed this line down to the date and time. Ace was the oldest of everyone pushing thirty and leaving Emil the baby of the group at eighteen.

"Even though you almost died you are really happy." Emil said looking at me on Ace's dragon.

"I live in the moment as much as I can...It was one thing I loved about the cafe." My smile was smaller but still there as I sent it to him but he just looked at me with sad eyes.

"So you know it's gone?" I nodded before smoothly brushing away a tear that tried to run down my face.

"Yes I know, it would be fine to build a new one but it wouldn't be the same as the first you know?" I smiled down at him but it was hard to make it reach my eyes. That cafe was my life and now it's gone like everything else.

"Would a new one still make you happy?" He tilted his head to the side and Ace growled a soft rumble looking at him before he stopped walking with his large dragon eyes looking at me.

"I am not bothering her im just asking.....What do you mean child?!" His Accent was just as strong as his sister's but it was just as cute on him as her with their age and looks. I laughed as another rumble came from Ace as he showed his teeth at Emil in a way that looked like a dragon smile with a laugh of his own.

"Guy's relax, Ace please stop teasing Emil." I said tapping Ace's dragon neck a few times. His dragon was a beautiful green a black color that matched his hair color. His body mostly black, had green hair down his neck to his tail that you could tell was spikes after getting a closer look and it was obvious he could control them because as we saw a car pulling up he growled slowly lifting his wings in a dangerous warning just like the hair pulling into spikes at the top of his neck and tail. We saw the guys come out the house the same time two men in suits got out the car. The one driving glanced our way and looked me in the eye before Emil also shifted. The man stopped and looked at the two of them as they showed their teeth with growls. There was something off about that man and the guys felt it to as we watched him walk up to Kai shaking his hand.

"King Kai, my name is Drus, my partner and I have a few questions for an Ace King, Emilio James, and the owner of the cafe, Scarlet Price. We was told they and a Alexander Field along with Genesis Jones would be here in your care." He said looking at Kai then to Alex who slipped next to Kai and leaning against the wall with Genie next to him.

"Yea im Alex, this is Genie. So what do you want? You and your people better not try anything funny." There was a spark coming from his fingers as Ace and Emil walked over to them shifting while Kai pulled me next to him with a growl yet with all the danger and blood lust in the air the man still did not move.

"Alex relax, im Scarlet, that's Ace and Emilio, how can we help you Mr. Drus?" I said taking Kai's hand that was around my shoulder and rubbing small circles on it as he growled when the man went to shake my hand.

"I am here to ask you question's about the explosion of your cafe." He said watching only me, I wonder why?

"Like I told Kai, Alex and I found a bomb and I told him to get everyone out. That's all their is to it." I watched him as he watched me back before I smiled at him as Kai held me tighter.
