Amory POV*
"Xan. Xan, wake up." Getting up crazy early I creep into my younger twins room with an idea. The point now was waking her up.
"Five more minutes." Xan wasn't always a morning person some day's. Rolling my eyes I grabbed her blanket and snatched it off the bed along with the pillow causing her to open her eyes and glare at me.
"Get up." I told her but she only looked at me before sighing and sat up crossing her arms looking at me.
"What?" She asked me flatly and I took a breath.
"I have a idea but we need to do it before anyone get's up. I want your help." I told her and she scratched her head looking at me like im stupid a look getting used by her to often on me.
"You do realize we are not aloud to leave this castle because we are grounded right?" She asked me and I nodded rolling my eyes.
"Yes im not slow, it's for mom. Are you gonna help or what?" I asked and at the mention of mom she sighed falling back on the bed closing her eyes before jumping up out the bed and walking to the bathroom.
"Give me five minutes." She told me shutting the door and I smiled even though she couldn't see me.
"You already asked for five two minutes ago so you got three." I told her and she gave me a fake laugh as the shower turned on.
"Shut up and get out my room Amory." She told me and I laughed heading to the door.
"Meet me in the kitchen." Waiting down stair's I started getting out thing's to make food for our parents and already started when Xan came in putting her hair up.
"Breakfast in bed?" She asked me and I nodded.
"Yep, I have a feeling it wont change the fact that she is mad or us being grounded but." I shrugged as she came up next to me.
"It's still nice I guess but doesn't she just drink blood?" She asked and I looked at her before we turned around hearing the laugh of our father.
"Your mother rather eat regular food more than drinking blood. She likes fruit and waffles by the way. Try not to burn it or your selves and she isn't mad so try not to worry about it. She couldn't bring her self to be mad at you both to long she is just worried about you." He told us grinning.
"I don't think she was joking about us being locked in the room with a spell." I told him and he shook his head sighing.
"No, no she was not. Your mother is... still a little mystery even to me but her anger is a force to be reckoned with so she really is going to fight that's why she has to get her full strength back and I need to be there with her. Scar's heart is huge but she doesn't think of her self to much when she wants the people she loves safe. When she saved Ace and Emilio from the old cafe blowing up she got her self stuck in there and almost didn't get found by the rescue guy's." He told us walking in to get a glass of juice.
"That doesn't make since. Why would she do something so crazy?" Xan asked him and he sighed.
"Like I said she is still a mystery even to me but I do know love makes you do crazy thing's." He told us and I shared a look with Xan before looking back at dad as he put a hand on my shoulder heading back to the door with his glass of orange juice.
"Thanks dad." I told him and he nodded with a yawn.
"Your mother will be sleeping for another few hours from being drained with what happened yesterday so you two can take your time. She wont be up for a while. Good luck you two." With a wave he was gone and we went back to work making a simple but nice breakfast. Xan and I finished just as the sun started to rise and went on to take the food to our parents room. Slowly opening the door that was unlocked like always we walked in both went to stand at the foot of their bed seeing dad had went back to sleep and was laying holding mom as her head laid on his chest with a arm over him.
