Chapter 21

Scarlet's POV*

What happened couldn't be helped so what am I doing?

"Lettie?" I looked up at the sound of a knock and Genie's scent before pulling a smile.

"Yeah Genie? Is there a problem, I don't mind helping you guy's out a while?" I offered even though she already knew I would of course.

"No it's fine, Alex and I have it handled. You just worry about hanging out with those beautiful twins and that mate of yours. I was just checking on you...You seemed off." My head dropped at her words letting the water run off my head as I decided on taking a shower.

"Im fine, tell Kai and the twins i'll be out in a minute." I didn't hear a reply meaning she left silently as I heard her heart beat fade. Leaving me alone to my silence of listening to the water run as I closed my eyes.

Kai POV*

I watched Genie leave from the kitchen with a sigh as she came up to us and shook her head. Only my mate could make things so hard at times.

"She said she was fine. She is taking a shower right now but she said she will be out with you guy's soon." Genie told us and I nodded leaning on the table we was sitting at dropping my face in both my hands rubbing it before leaning back into my seat with a sigh.

"Some times I hate how stubborn that women is." I said to no main person as I tried getting into her mind but of course was blocked.

"Do you think I upset her?" It sat up to look at Amory who gave me a worried look and of course I shook my head.

"It takes more than that to upset your mother Amory trust me. She just...There's thing's she has to adjust to." I told them but those wasn't really the words I wanted to use or how I wanted it to sound.

"You mean us?" Xanthe asked and I shared a look with her before glancing at Genie who only shrugged putting up her hands deciding not to answer before walking away.

"Your mom has to get use to the idea of...seeing you grown up that's all. She didn't get to see you two after you was born."

Scarlet POV*

"Milia you have to." I told her only to hear the sound of her crying.

"I can't do it Scarlet." She told me as she cried before quieting as I hissed taking her wrist in mine tightly and beard my fangs at her with a glare.

"Carmilia I am telling you not asking! Take out the baby and save her! NOW!" I hissed at her only to cough up blood as pain shot threw me. It didn't matter that I could die. It only mattered that my children live.

"Your a terrible friend for making me do this Scarlet." I could hear Carmilia sob but none the less got to work as I heard another cry that came from my first baby.

"My boy didn't grow inside me on his own, he needs his twin." I told her as I felt like I was loosing feeling in everything.

"I got her! Alex she needs help i'll take care of Scarlet!" I could hear Carmilia say before my vision started to blur. Everything was about numb and I could only hear a loud ringing in my ear and muffled voice's. The only thing my ears could hear was the sound of my babies crying.

"Come on Scar, we need you." I could hear Kai calling me while I felt my self being pulling into a cold darkness. My body felt like I was freezing. As if I was standing out side in the middle of winter without a jacket.
