Kai POV*

Before anyone saw it coming, Christmas was here. Snow covered the ground of the cute little town of humans and supernatural, lights hung in every window and hot chocolate on every corner you turn. It's been a few month's since I met Scar now and so far I can finally say she and I are together. After that night she accepted me everything else just picked up right behind it. Right now I just finished up paper work and wishing my allies a happy holiday's and taking a walk around the training grounds where Maxi and the warriors was cleaning off the field to practice. Hopping in my truck I drove down from the pack grounds to met up with Ace who I sent a head with Emilio to the cafe and keep a eye on Scar for me till I finished work. The second I pulled into town I got a bad feeling as I saw dark black smoke going up to the sky.

"Don't be the cafe...Don't be the cafe."I silently wished to my self as I turned onto Scarlet's road to the cafe. My heart stopped as I saw police cars, people from the area and rescue people all out side the burning cafe.

"God Scar." Cutting off the truck I jumped out trying to find her sent but only getting the smell of fire and rubber.

"KING KAI!" Turning at the sound of my name I found Ace running at me from an officer who tried to grab him.

"Ace wh-"

"Someone blew it up. Alex ran from the kitchen telling everyone to get out and yelling about a bomb. He and Genie got the people out and Emilio was with me to get Scarlet." He said out in a rush as he started to get pulled away by a cop while I was being pushed back by another but we both ignored them.

"Ace what happened to Scarlet?! Where is she?" I pushed back at the cop then stopped as Ace did and simply looked then closed his eyes and looking at the ground.

"She disappeared...we lost her just before the explosion. When she vanished the two of us was dropped out side the cafe by Alex's feet. Emilio got knocked out from the fall and we was hit by the after burst." I couldn't gather the information as I lost my breath just when I could hear Emilio yelling as he came in my vision being carried by rescue.

"Kai! Kai don't let them take me!"

"Emilio just relax i'll send Carmilia to come get you I promise!"I was still being held back by the cop but I still saw his panic as he looked at me. The boy was terrified of doctors and anything medical like a hospital.

"Kai...Im sorry...Scar... she threw us out."All I could do was watch the kid apologize as tears rolled down his face. The second he was driven away is the same time you could hear the pain filled roar of a dragon as I saw his sister drop down out the sky followed by the others. Running up to her she looked at me with scared angry eyes as she roared again looking around.

"Carmilia calm down Emilio is going to be okay so stop yelling. They just took him away so I need you to go met him at the hospital the kid is really scared i'll fill you in later." She huffed looking at me then to the cafe and let out a whimper. She was angry and very worried for Scarlet and her brother but she did as told anyway and left with Ace following behind her the second he saw her dragon and ignored the cops that tried to stop him.

"Chef we found her!" Turning round nearly getting whip lash I watched as a firefighter came out the still burning building yelling to his boss carrying an unconscious Scarlet. She was unmoving in the man's arms and had blood pouring from somewhere unknown as she was covered in it. I didn't realize when I was being held down, by who or that Genie, Alex and Max was also being held. Focusing only on Scar I could just barely hear the faint beating of her heart.

"I said let go of me you damn human!"I could hear Max yelling.

"Look they didn't do anything wrong so why not just let my boyfriend and everyone else go?" Maxi said following the cop with Max to the car but by now I know everyone was beyond pissed.
