Chapter 15

Carmilia POV*

I watched as Amory clapped seeing his sister in a cute little baby jump suit. The two was now wearing matching footie suits seeming happy to match each other. While Amory was wearing orange his twin Xanthe was wearing a skittle pink. Kai was making sure the two was more than happy as he he played with the two and taking pictures of them while we all knew he was still heart broken over Scarlet. Not long after we found Kai asleep holding her body I came back with Ace to fined Scarlet's body gone. The room was empty and looked like there was never anyone there. To make things odder, the others started to think that she had already been put in the ground berried away. I couldn't seem to shake the thought that someone moved her the little time the guys carried out Kai's sleeping body and the time I used checking on the twins. Everything was a big confusing blur but I could see Kai was slowly coming to accept the death of his mate. As a year passed on to the twins first birthday they both looked the size of three year old's. Everything was lively around the castle as both twins learned to run, walk, and talk. The one thing everyone learned quickly as the two started to grow was how different they was. While Amory being older was sweet and quite, his younger twin Xanthe would cause trouble of all kinds but the main thing was how much the two was glued together. You would never see one without seeing the other just like now.

"Amory! Come play!" Xanthe yelled running into the kitchen and up to her brother with a huge smile and started to pull his shirt.

"Sit down and eat then we can play Xan." Amory told her and she frowned but still took a seat next to him and silently started to eat her lunch. Looking at his sister pouty face, Amory grinned before taking his sippy cup and giving it to her.

"What's that?" Xanthe asked taking his cup and he smiled at her.

"It's juice." He told her and she frowned handing it back to him.

"No it's your's." She told him and he frowned back.

"Im giving it to you so just drink it." Amory said just as Kai walked in and he sighed rubbing his head before taking the cup from them.

"If you two don't drink it then I will." Kai told then and before we could blank the cup was gone from his hands.

"It's Amory's so don't touch it." Kai smirked looking down at Xanthe who was once again holding her brother's cup.

"Oh don't you go getting testy little miss. You don't want to drink it so why can't I have some?" Kai said to her and she shook her head putting the cup to her lips and started to drink.

"Keep away!" Amory yelled standing in his seat before Xanthe started run with a little giggle as Kai started to pretend to chase her.

"Im gonna get you Xanthe." Kai said with a laugh and she squealed with a laugh before passing the cup back to Amory as Kai lifted her in the air.

"No, down, down!" Xanthe told Kai as she started to wiggle in his arms.

"You next Amory?" Kai asked his son and the boy only looked at him.

"Your gonna wear it if you don't put her down." Amory said before untwisting his top but Kai only grinned with a daring look.

"Oh yea tough guy, that the best you got splashing a little juice on me?" Kai taunted his son but from where I was standing the kid couldn't look more serious.

"Kai I don't think the kid is joking." I told him and he just shrugged dropping to a small smile.

"Yea I no, these's little flares...they remind you of her don't they?" Kai asked with the hint of a distant look in his eyes as he looked at his son who resembled Scarlet down to his eyes and other wise collected demeanor.
