Amory POV*
"Amory that vampire is your mother." I looked at my father like he had lost his mind but even the other's at the door had the same look as he did. The vampire in front of us had long messy hair going down her back that faced us on the floor and old ripped, bloody clothes not to mention the fact she looked like she been in the rain. My eyes went from the woman to Xanthe who looked like she was having a heart attack or about to have one as I saw her fighting to get her hand free but was only moving her self not the vampire, well our mother I guess.
"Let me go damn it." Xan groaned pulling her arm but there was still nothing before her golden eyes started to glow and she through the blankets sending the vampire a kick who didn't seem fazed.
"Dad are you blind to Xanthe flipping out? If she really is your mate then make her let go of Xan!" I growled at him and moments passed before he shook his head and his weight was gone as I was pulled back to my feet.
Why is she just looking at Xan?
"Scar that is your daughter, let go of Xanthe." Dad said to the woman taking a step closer but the only movement she made was putting a had on Xan's face making her freeze with wide terrified eyes. Xan was now ignoring us like the vampire was.
"I... remember those...those eyes and v...voice." It seemed like the woman hadn't spoke in years as her voice sounded dry and words slow.
"Scar turn around and look at me. It's your mate Kai." Dad tried again and slowly her head tilted, body turning slightly.
"My...mate?" She asked and dad took cautious steps closer to them but neither her nor Xan moved hearing him get closer.
"Yes Scar, please turn around." Dad seemed almost begging for the woman to turn around as we watched her hand fall from Xan's face as her other hand slowly let go of her arm before Xan went from the bed to suddenly holding onto me.
"Are you okay Xan?" I asked her as we watched our father stop seeing the woman turn around with her red eyes.
"It is... it is Scarlet, it's really her." I held Xan as we both was put under the woman's eyes before she looked at dad. In away she did look like the woman in the picture that he showed us of our mother but right now I just couldn't see it.
A mate always knows even with years apart prince.
I guess so from the looks of it.
"Our little vampire." Dad's voice mixed with that of his dragon Talon and both Xan and I tensed more than we already was watching the woman's eyes fade from red to a slightly deep brown that was a mirror of my own.
"Her eyes match your's Amory." Xan whispered to me as we watched dad hug her.
"Kai and...Talon?" Dad's shoulder's looked like they had a slight shake to them as I looked away and down to Xan.
"Im a little lost and tired." I said and she nodded.
"Im okay now I think but this freaked me out too much." She said and I couldn't agree more, this whole thing was crazy. After another few minutes our mother collapsed and dad sent everyone off and telling Xan and I to go back to bed and took our mother out the room. To Xan an I the day was longer than it should have been.

Xanthe POV*
The next morning we all sat in dad's office as uncle Alex worked at my arm that was just about finished after shutting up my brother as he started to freak out over the claw marks on my arm that was now almost gone. The real thing that made the room odd to sit in was the fact that we all was looking at the now cleaned up vampire next to dad. She was now cleaned up with her hair out and hanging in her face as she silently looked down at something.
