Two sides of the same story (Toothless x reader)

Chapter One

I peered around while soaring through the night sky, it was the only time I could fly, being too afraid to fly during the day for the fear I could get caught. Most of the night furys were shot down and killed. Did I forget to mention that I'm a night fury?

Oh well. Finally after searching, I found a small village close to sea. The torches made it a clear sign that there were people here. I saw a forest close by and dipped to land in it. Once I found a clearing I dropped in, my wings retracting when I felt the soft grass underneath my feet. Glancing from left to right I made sure no one was there, then proceeded to shift my bones while my scales morphed to skin. When it was done I had black hair, still having my E/C eyes. I stood up and started to search for things to make a comfy bed, which was mostly leaves and went to sleep.

When the morning finally arrived I rolled over in an atempt to go back to sleep. "Oh, hey! She isn't dead!" What sounded like a male voice claimed. I shifted my head to the side where the voice came from and peeked open my left eye. In front of me was 5 people, 3 guys and 2 girls. I grumbled, shut my eyes and faced the other way.

"Do you guys think she's trying to die?" A different male voice spoke.

"It looks like she's just trying to sleep to me" this time it was a girls voice but at the same time the voice was deep.

"I think we should bring her back to berk. Maybe she's sick and in need of help." It was another girls voice which means I've only yet to hear one of the boys voices.

"What if she's dangerous?" It was a higher pitched guys voice, that means all of them have spoke. It was actually getting quite annoying. I open my eyes pushing myself off the ground with a grunt, brushed myself off and walked off to find a more secluded place while they continued to talk. Once their voices were starting to quiet down it seemed apperent to them that I was missing.

"Hey! Wait up!" The more girl sounding voice called out getting a little louder further in her sentence. She was running, grumbling to myself before doing what I call 'play dead'. I clutched my chest gasping for breaths falling down face first and shutting my eyes. Footsteps hurringly made their way over and hands flipped me onto my back. "Quickly, lets get her to the village!" The girl announced. Multiple hands wrapped around me and picked me up, quickly carrying me off in a direction I had no care to figure out.

Just a few minutes later I was rested on what I will choose to believe is a leather bed. Talking from many people could be heard outside, questioning me and how I came out of the forest. Ugh, people become so worried when they see one of their own fallen but if I was in my dragon form they would have no problem ripping me apart. Someone carefully put their hands on either side of me and something weird was pressed against my chest, none the less I assumed it was the head of someone checking for my heartbeat.

I slowly opened my eyes once the head was taken off of my chest knowing that they knew I was alive. The person who listened to my heartbeat was rather old looking, short too. I looked around the room, the other five where there, all looking at me in wonder. I finally took my time to have a description of how I could remember them.

One of them was a rather large boy at the stomach, the second boy was less fat but still looked like he had some muscle, the third boy was very skinny but had the look like he was always getting into mischief. The first girl looked very similar to the third boy, they were most likely related, and the second girl was thin but also had some muscle. The second girl walked up to me and started to speak, "My name is Astrid, do you remember your name?"

I decided to play the innocent card, "No, I actually can't remember anything." I lied. They all looked at each other confused on what to do now.

"Welp. I'll go get the chief." Spoke the thin but muscled guy, walking out of the room. The guy and the girl who looked alike started to argue.

"I bet I can get her remember faster than you!" Challenged the boy.

"No! I'm obviously better at making people remember then you are!" The girl snapped back. They continued to bicker while clashing their helmets.

"Sorry about the twins, they argue a lot." Said, I think her name was Astrid?

"It doesn't matter to me." I replied and leaned back as if in thought.

"Let me introduce you to the rest of the gang." She spoke a smile playing at her lips. "This is fishlegs." She pointed to the large boy. "The guys who left to get our chief is Snotlout. The the twins are Ruffnut and Tuffnut. Ruffnut being the girl." She finished, I nodded but stayed silent, I didn't really want to waste my breath on these people. Finally the door opened and everyone looked over as a big man entered the room and followed behind was the boy Astrid called Snotlout.
