"Alola!" the Kahuna greeted us,
"Alola, miss Kahuna" Moon replied.
"So, you must be Moon, I have heard nice things about you from professor Kukui. He seems to see great potential in you" Olivia said with a smile.
"Gee, thanks, but I'm just starting, right now I just have my Brionne and Gardevoir with me"
Moon replied with modesty.
"Ah! I see, so a Gardevoir huh?" the Kahuna asked intrigued.
"Yeah, she hatched a little after I was born from her egg, she has been with me since, her name is Grace" Moon told.
"Perfect, then I would like to challenge you and Grace today, you'll be facing my Lycanroc" Olivia said with a serious tone.
"Sure" Moon replied, "I have faced a Lycanroc before, so this might not be so bad" she said with confidence.
"Remember there are two types of Lycanroc, three if you count Ash's" I said "They have different combat capabilities".
"Ah! you are right Gladion! thanks!" She replied. "No problem" I said with a smile.
"Gladion?" Olivia asked, "How has it been, I haven't see you since I gave you that Rockium-Z, are you using it well?".
"Yes, I have been using it responsibly" I replied.
"Good to hear" Olivia said while putting her hands on her hips. "Wait a minute, so you two know eaxh other? Gasp! could it be you are a couple!? the Kahuna said excited.
Moon and I blushed immensely.
"N-No we- we aren't!" we responded in unison. Gosh I wanted it to be true.
"Haha, sorry I put you guys on the spot!" "Then, shall we begin?" Olivia said shifting through emotions. We looked at each other still blushing and laughed awkwardly. "Y-yeah let's start" Moon replied.
The battle began and Moon took Grace out while returning Brionne, her Gardevoir looked serious. Olivia then took out her Midday form Lycanroc and right out of the blue ordered it to use Stone Edge. Moon's Gardevoir quickly used her psychic powers to evade the rocks, they both seemed in perfect sync.
"Okay Gracie! let's show the Kahuna what we learned with Diantha!" Moon shouted.
She had met the Kalos region's champion when she used to live there, Diantha appeared one day at her mother's restaurant and she tutored Moon for a while.
Lycanroc used Accelrock but Grace threw it back using the sound waves of her Hyper Voice attack. Moon then told Grace to use Psyshock which she used to set little psychic bombs all over the field. When Lycanroc used Accelrock again, it was hit by them, allowing Moon to finish it using Grace's Moonblast.
"That was intense!" Olivia said with a proud yet frustrated tone.
"Thank you, and thanks a lot for this opportunity" Moon replied, returning Olivia to a serene state.
"Very well, consider your second trial cleared!" the Kahuna said.
"We did it!" Moon jumped happily and hugged her Pokémon.
I was happy as well so I went to congratulate her, Moon then jumped at me and hugged me.
I hesitated a little because the nerves, but I hugged her back.
When we separated, we were blushing.
Olivia smirked and then said: "Very well then, I leave you little Luvdiscs, have a nice day!".
There's no number to express the amount of red in our faces. Moon thanked Olivia again and and after saying goodbye, the Kahuna returned from where she had came from.
Moon returned Grace to her Heal Ball and we laughed at what just had happened, all while keeping our faces red.
