We launched a flurry of attacks at Nanu's Krookodile, it defended from every special attack without a scratch. Moon's Brionne wasn't able to do a thing despite being super-effective against the dark/ground Pokémon.
Hau was using his Dartrix, Sun his Wishiwashi and I a Zorua my mother had sent me a couple of hours earlier. It was not long before Baht and Marina fainted.
Hau and I were barely resisting Krookodile's Stone Edge storm. "What a boring show" Nanu groaned. "Krookodile! make sure they don't waste any more of our time!" The Kahuna yelled while making a pose. Sun sent out Yen to help Marina and Dartrix out.
Nanu unleashed his Dark Hole Eclipse Z-Move on them, and all I could think of was on saving my Moon, so I told Umbreon to use protect to shield her and her Brionne from the attack. Umbreon fainted, since Z-Moves can get through protect and he was already weakened.
"Gladdy! Umbreon!" Moon yelled in concern, "Thanks, I won't let your sacrifice be in vain" she said as she nodded at me. Dartrix, Yen and Marina survived, and just with enough HP to activate their Torrent, Blaze and Overgrow abilities.
The three screamed with all their strength: "We won't give up!". Their Pokémon stood once more, and suddenly, the three were engulfed with shining blue light.

The three evolved into their final forms, and with the strength of their abilities, they launched a powerful and never before seen Z-Move: Elemental Fury Clash.
