It was the dawn of a new day, Wingull flocks danced through the sky, a fresh ocean breeze could be felt from the hotel room's balcony.
I opened my eyes to see the love of my life sleeping by my side, I couldn't believe she was my girlfriend.

How was I worthy of such a wonderful person? I don't know, but it didn't mattered, I was going to do my best to be worthy for the rest of my existence.
She opened her eyes just to meet mine. "Yawn, good morning" she said as sweet as always.

"Good morning" I replied, still nervous and without really knowing how to act or what to do. Everything was new for both of us, but when there's love, it's always going to be okay.
We shared a good morning kiss, she tasted as vanilla.

We woke up and began preparing for the day, we were going to enjoy this day and continue our island challenge in the next. Having cleared the Melemele and Akala grand trials, now I was able to face the Ula'Ula and Poni ones at the same time with my now girlfriend.

So we spent the morning exploring Akala island's tourist spots, including some beach stores where I bought Moon a Lunala-shaped necklace. We proceeded to change into our swimsuits and went for a swim, it was officially our first date.

She wore a cute one-piece suit with an Aipom pattern, it had little bananas alongside the pokémon's face in it.
My shorts on the other hand had Lycanroc eyes on them.
We splashed, swam and dived into the water until afternoon.

When we were drying, we saw two Luvdiscs playing on the sea. It's known that couples that witness those pokémon are promised a loving relationship that never ends, exactly what I was meaning to do.

After finishing some piña colada drinks, we headed back to the hotel. Once there, we went to relax near the pool's snack bar, where we ate hot dogs and hamburgers with fries.

We spent the rest of the day at the hotel room, talking all night long and ordering room service for dinner. By this point we knew each other well, our hobbies, favorite foods and colors. We knew the story of our lives and were ready to keep writing it, only this time, together.

We kept talking until we fell asleep, cuddling together and holding hands.
It was officially, the best day ever.
