By the way there is a pinterest page with the character and a couple of the places in the story. So go check it out if you want. Asmithia is the username. One of the next two chapters will be private. For real this time, and it will be an important chapter at that.

I sat there for hours. His blue eyes that used to shine so bright. Now they were dull and lifeless. His brown hair lost his shine, his blood ran down the pole with his head on it. It pool at the bottom with blood. His lips as purple as the mountains on a foggy day.

By now I have knocked down two trees. I was cold and numb which is weird because cold doesn't bother me. And I know that I haven't transported. I haven't left this meadow.

In a way I wish that I did not force Hayden to hate me. Mason disappeared before I entered the meadow and I haven't seen him since. I had no desire to go look for him because he could get back to the house on his own. He was a big boy. I really need to start pushing people away more if I don't then more people will end up dead. The people I care about the most always end up gone. Mason had a long life ahead of him I was not about to take that away from him.

I wanted to kill who ever did this to him. They will pay for this. And that payment will be with there life. I felt my eyes begin to tear up again. I seriously hate crying which is why I haven't cried in so long.

I heard foot steps crush against the snow. They were far enough away but the person would be here in about four minutes. The wind was blowing the opposite direction so I couldn't pick up there scent but they definitely had mine. I did not even bother to look at them when they step foot into my meadow. I could sense they weren't a threat.

A warm coat wrapped around my shoulders. I looked up and smiled greatfully at John. He nodded in recognition, he held up a set of clothes and I smiled. I stood up and slipped on the clothes. Afterwards I sat back down in my spot.

"Do you need anything?"John asked.

"No some company would be nice but I have a feeling that you can't stay long." He smiled apologetically at me.

"As much as I would love to. You can't really stay that long in a place you are supposed to be dead. What if someone came stumbling upon us." He explained.

"It makes sense." I stared at Kyle. If no one knew the limit to my power. And the only limit of the power is the limit of my own imagination then I could bring Kyle back to life. I reach out my hand slowly and as if John read my mind he grabbed my hand to stop me.

"Some people are meant to stay dead." I looked at him confused. What did he mean by that? Of course he must of been talking about when he was brought back.

"But he was supposed to be my mate. The moon god..." I was cut off.

"It's all an illusion." He told me.

"What? What do you mean. " The second part was aa demand. What does he know that I do not.

"Kyle never met the moon godess. It was all planted into his head. By the same person that has been messing with your memories. That person also made him feel as if you were his real mate to prevent him from finding his real one." John placed a hand on my shoulder. I just shrugged him off.

"You mean to tell me that his real mate could have been in front of the whole time and he would have never known?" My voice cracked. This was not fair. He missed out on the chance of having a mate and the chance of actually being happy because of me. Another thing that made me despise my life.
