Chapter Thirty

I'm betting you guys didn't read the comments. Muwhaha

"I'm glad we had this talk but I won't call you Dad." I looked him in the eyes. I could see how we resembled each other, but I haven't see her so I can't tell for sure.

"I don't expect you to." He sighed.

"Goodbye Lucifer."

"Please Tessa call me Luke." Then I transported. So I finally met my father. Actually I met him a few weeks ago. If that's what he can even be called, a father.

Archer sat rocking back and forth in his chair. I went and sat down on his lap and kissed him. This is my mate and I don't want him to be worried.

"I thought you weren't coming back." He pulled away.

"I'll always come back." I smiled at me. He captured my lips with his own again. Picking me up he walked us over to the bed and threw me down on to it. He climbed on and laid on top of me kissing down my neck.

"You know I was thinking." He paused and looked me in the eyes.

"What? "My face broke into a smile.

"I want children. " As soon as he said that my face fell.

"Ummm." I looked towards the wall.

"Not right now. But eventually. Birth is just so amazing and oh my god that baby was so cute. I didn't want to leave him." He looked so happy.

"Its possible that... I won't be able to have kids." I felt so ashamed. Lucifer had just told me it's possible I will never be able to have kids. Not that I wanted a child but Archer obviously does. And who else would we leave the throne to. He looked hurt, he tried to cover it quickly but it was already to late.

"It's fine." He assured me kissing my lips.

"We'll keep trying until I can. I promise you." That much I could promise him.

"When are you going to visit Christal?" He trailed a finger up my arm.

"Later on." I was vauge with my answer. Archer has had some obsession with children since Deak was born.

"Can I come with you." He got off the bed and got down on his knees." Please oh please let me come with you fair maiden. " He tried to give me a puppy dog face.

"Fine. Go ahead and get ready." I pulled him off the ground. He planted a kiss on my lips then went up to his office. I had a faint smile on my face. But it wasn't from Archer.

The air blew across my face before my surroundings settled in. Never would I get used to that chilling feeling I got here. Calvin stood with his back turned to me.

"You knew." I yelled over the wind so he could hear me. Calvin turned around to face me a sad look on his face.

"Yes." He whispered but it was as loud as my yell. He took a step toward me and I took two back. "Tessa please."

"No you knew this whole time and you left me in the dark." I was furious.

"Tessa let me..."

"No I won't let you explain. You knew what I was. You could have taught me. I wanted you to teach me. Did you even know my Grandfather Calvin? Or was that a lie too?" He looked as if I had slapped him in the face.

"Technically I never lied to you. I just told you pieces of the truth. And yes I knew your grandfather. " He turned away from me again.

"Lie by omission. Tell me why he left me!" My vision was turning red and the air blew harsher.

"Because they're people after you Tessa. They want to spill your blood. He went to figure out who." I could hear the truth in his voice. Now I can tell when people are lying to me. I could reach out into people's minds and see their deepest desires. I am so much more powerful than I was before.

"Who?" I was shocked.

"There are people that would do anything to get to your father. And now that it is out you're his daughter they'll come after you." I turned away from him I didn't even want to see the back of him.

"What do you have anything to do with this." My voice began to crack. I would not cry. The dark clouds that thundered above us let out a dry crack of lightening, lighting up the sky brighter than the sun.

"Because I'm here to protect you." He wrapped his arms around me.

"Was everything you told me a lie." I demanded.

"No I really do love you." He turned me around kissing me just to prove it.

"Then tell me this. Why?"

Okay guys so I'm guessing most you didn't read the comments. But surprise I'm not done yet. So much still has to happen. I know this is a short chapter. It is on purpose. Wanted to leave you guys with a cliff hanger. Not that the last chapter was cliffhanger enough.

Okay so I probably won't update for a while. I am working on another book right now. And there is a chance it might get published. So I will be focusing all my free time to that. I'm sorry.
