Awkwardness is all I feel on this plane. Kenny, Eva, Derek and I were on the same private jet. Kenny was turned to an angle having a clear view at me. He wouldn't take his eyes off of me.
Every time I would make some sort of romantic gesture towards Derek. We started just holding hands but now I was damn near in his lap.
"Kenny did you hear what I said?" Eva rudely asked. I looked over at Kenny and he was obviously aggravated. Eva had been talking, about herself since we got on the jet.
"Damn she's mean." Derek whispered in my ear causing me to giggle. Eva turned to us and pulled down her shades, "Problem?"
"Yeah. You're talking so much that your voice is narrating my thoughts."
"Why must you always start with me? Toni, I've done nothing to you so please understand this, I AM NOT THE ONE. Don't let this proper appearance fool you." Eva said.
"You turned your clueless ass around remember. Now turn back around scarecrow."
Eva quickly turned to see Kenny shaking his head, "Why don't you ever say anything to her? She works for you and talks to me like shit! You should be defending my honor! Sometimes I wonder about you Kenny."
"What? I'm not getting in the middle of two women arguing about something that's childish. I told you to chill out and as we see you haven't. You're always stepping on toes Eva." Kenny responded.
Derek and I just sat there listening to them argue. I wanted to say something but didn't want to jump into their issues.
"You're so damn selfish! Everything always has to be about Eva! Eva this, Eva that. The world doesn't revolve around you!" Kenny yelled.
"I'm selfish? You must be kidding me! You talk about yourself just as much! The only difference is that you have plenty people to kiss your ass also!" Eva got up and stormed to the back of the plane.
"Don't you walk away from me when we're having a discussion!" Kenny followed behind her. A door slammed and the yelling continued.
"I hope and pray we never get like that. That toxic shit can only get worse." Derek mumbled.
I sat back in my seat and tried to drown out the argument. It was impossible and the thoughts of what if entered me. That could be Kenny and I chewing each other heads off right now.
"Derek, you know we're in the honeymoon stage of us dating. We aren't arguing and stuff yet but eventually it could happen."
"I know. Just when we get into it don't say anything about my momma. I don't play about her." Derek laughed.
"I'm being serious and you're making jokes. I'll try to remember that in the heat of the moment."
Kenny and Eva made it back to their seats 5 minutes before the jet landed. It looked like Eva had been crying. Her face was unreadable but her posture showed hate.
We gathered our stuff and went our separate ways. I wanted to ask Kenny was he okay but a part of me didn't want to show that I cared.
I ran over to the window of our suite overlooking Las Vegas. "Wow! Who knew a sinful city could look so pleasant?"
Derek wrapped his arm around me as we looked out the window. His hand slipped down to my lower abdominal and gently rubbed me.
"Eager much? How about we unpack first and then have fun?" Derek looked up and thought, "We got to get a meal in to. I'm actually starving right now."
With that being said we headed out to get something to eat. We found a cute little restaurant in the hotel that looked out into the casino.
"After we eat we should hit the casino. I need to see how much luck you bring me." I blushed at Derek's comment.
"I guess, gambling isn't really my thing. I don't have the patience to sit and wait to win. But we can go play for a while."
_____________"Oh shit! I got 21 again!" Derek high fived me as I yelled.
I was winning big. I didn't have much luck with the slots but I was doing very well every where else. The thrill was exhausting but I couldn't stop.
"I want to put it all on 34 red!"
"Hold on! Toni are you sure you want to bet everything? That's a lot of money that could be lost." Derek said.
"I'm sure. You only live once right?"
I nodded to the man working the table and the game began. All my winning had caused a crowd to emerge. Everyone was rooting for me and it felt great.
"It's.....34 RED!" Everyone near me erupted in shouts. I was happy I had won again. I couldn't believe my luck.
"Toni you just made a million dollars!" Derek yelled in my ear. I looked at him and then down at the table. I didn't keep up with how much anything was worth. I was just playing the game.
"I'm done for the night. I'm ready to retire a millionaire." The crowd cheered loudly as Derek walked off with me. Derek and I got back to the suite with a brief case full of money. I put it away before Derek tossed me on the king size bed.
"You were amazing tonight. Now it's time for me to reward you."
Derek placed his mouth on my dripping core and didn't remove it for the rest of the night.
