Chapter 20

"For the hundredth time Kenny it was NOTHING!" We had been arguing for 2 hours and it was getting tiring.

"No you said it for a reason. Just tell me. What's so hard about speaking up?" Kenny asked walking into my personal space.

"You need to back the fuck up!" I pushed him but he caught my arms and roughly pulled me into him. With a quick spin I was slammed into the couch.

"You're making this so damn difficult. I'm trying so hard with you because I care about you. I would've walked away a long time. So tell me, why did you say that?"

"Juliet. She's the one that left the note and I think you might want to sit down for this. She's sleeping with Derek."

"WHAT? My sister is sleeping with the him too." I placed my arms around Kenny and held him, "I know it's crazy."

Kenny got up and began pacing the room, "Naw this shit is a lie! You're lying to me for your own personal gain. Y'all are in on something together!"

"I'm not trying to betray you Kenny! This is the truth Derek told me the day we met at Starbucks."

"So you've know for almost 3 days? That's why your ass has been lost in a daze. Toni fuck you!" Kenny rushed pass me slamming the door on the way out.

"FUCK YOU TOO!"

I finished packing my bags as I waited for my plane ticket confirmation to go through. Exhaustion had finally swept over me and the only way it would leave is if I got the hell out of Vegas.

Kenny had a room key and I knew eventually he would return. I had no idea what would become of us and I didn't care.

Just as I was double checking the room for my stuff Kenny walked in. His shirt was bloody and his lip was busted.

"Kenny what did you do?" I followed him into the bathroom. I watched him ignore me as he turned on the shower. Slowly he removed his clothes making sure not to make any sudden movements.

"I did what I had to do." He got into the shower and closed the door. Part of me wanted to console him but I needed to get away. I had lost myself too many times in this short period.

"I'm leaving. I'll see you back in L.A."

Kenny's P.O.V

I rushed out the room mad as fuck. Cursing Toni out was the dumbest thing I could've done but I'll fix that later.

I pounded on the door waiting for an answer. I was passed pissed and had one thing on my mind. As soon as the door opened I pushed it further knocking the person to the floor.

"Ouchhhhhh! What the fuck!"

There she was getting up off the floor. I slammed the door shut and walked towards her.

"How in the hell could you do this to me? Why are you up in here half naked with his ass?"

"Why else would I be Kenny? Derek and I are seeing each other. Not all of us has everything handed to us." Juliet said as she got up and fixed her silk robe.

"Don't start with that shit again. All you had to do was follow dads rules. No one told you to party, get kicked out of school and get pregnant!"

"You're just like him! I needed support and you two gave me none. When I had my miscarriage only Derek was there for me. So I feel that I owe my loyalty to him not you or this company." Juliet explained.

"It was you. You fucked up all the documents and lied on Eva. You could've ruined everything."

"So?" Ju said with a grin. She sat down and started polishing her fingernails.

"If you weren't a woman I'd beat your ass!"

"Well I'm not! Come try to beat my ass Kenny! I've been waiting on this moment for year!" Derek said appearing out of the bedroom.

"No! No! No! You two will not be fighting. Kenny just give me 20 million dollars and a couple shares of Eva's father part of the business deal. After that we'll be gone forever. Deal?"

Ju stuck her hand out and I slapped it away. Derek was right behind her ready to fight.

"You must've got your nasty ass gold digging-ways from your mother. Both of y'all are crazy I'm not giving you shit!"

"Wrong answer Kenny!" Juliet yelled as Derek charged towards me.

My heart raced as I blocked and dodged Derek. I was kind of getting the best of him because he was tiring himself out being wild. Juliet was my main problem. She was hitting me hard and I couldn't really do anything about it. I was running from here and fighting Derek.

I punched Derek in his stomach and he leaned over. Juliet ran behind me ready to slap the fuck out of me. I ducked and she slapped Derek so hard he almost turned around.

"Baby I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Derek said nothing as Ju walked to him. Derek reached back with a swift slap to Juliet's face.

Juliet was now on the ground crying her eyes out. Derek sadly stood over her looking ashamed. I punched Derek and he lost his balance. His head cracked the side of a table. Juliet and I both looked at him horrified. He wasn't moving at all and his breathing was shaky.

"Kenny go get out of here. Don't worry about anything. I'll take care of it." Juliet said as she pulled me to the door.

"What are you good to do?" Ju gave me a hug and closed the door in my face. Something in me said run and that's exactly what I did. By the time I got to the suite I was lost in thought. Toni was leaving and I couldn't blame her. I got in the shower barely answering her questions and eye contact.

"I'm leaving. I'll see you back in L.A." Toni yelled.
