Controversy & Cheer leading Mishaps

It was time for lunch, thankfully. I had managed to survive gym class today, thinking of what they were planning against my sister and I. Coach had blown her whistle at me so many times during volleyball, that I think I'm hearing bells every time someone speaks.

Brailey and I made our way to the cafeteria, talking about the latest episode of Degrassi.

We stood by the doors, waiting for Lizzie, who came few moments later.

We all made our way into the crowded cafeteria, getting our lunches, and then we sat down at a table in the far corner with the guys.

Some people gasped, as only the four gods that normally sat here were supposed to make landing at this table, and I smiled in satisfaction.

Placing a soft kiss on my nose, Brody greeted me.

"Sup beautiful."

"Sup." I said, trying to mimic him and sound cool, but failed miserably, earning laughs from all around the table.

I looked up and saw that Lizzie was sitting next to Jackson, chatting deeply about something, and of course, Brailey was next to Reece gushing over every word that came out of his mouth.

Lucas was amongst us too, eating off of Jackson's plate, completely oblivious to the conversations around him.

"Sup, Nichols." he greeted me as he slouched back against the wall.

I laughed at how completely ridiculous he looked, with a french fry resting on his leather jacket.

Lunch was amazing overall, until Emily walked up to our table with a smug look on her face.

"Nice job in volleyball today." she said to me with a smirk.

I flipped her the finger, which earned a snicker from my table and a scowl from her.

"Is that any way to talk to Lucas's girl friend?" came a voice from behind her.

We all looked past Emily to face a smirking Heather and the rest of the clique.

"I wouldn't care if she was the freaking queen of England." I told Heather with a bored look as I went back to my food.

"Woah there tiger. You wouldn't want to eat all of that would you?" Sara spoke up as she looked down at my plate in disgust.

What? Pizza and fries. These people were crazy.

"No Sara, let her eat. Maybe she'll get a fat ass." Heather said in disgust.

Okay clearly these people weren't big on gaining weight. I should have been able to tell. But I wouldn't care. I could eat a horse and wouldn't gain a pound.
