Cheryls Pov

As soon as I walked back up the road to Thornill i saw my Mother speed walking down to see me, I could tell she was angry, and I knew that I'd lost any or all chance or having any food tonight.
"Cheryl Majorie Blossom, where the hell were you today, school called, they said you weren't there all day"
"God mother, why do you care"
"Because Cheryl, I dont want you going back to your Deviant ways, not like heather again"
"And just because i wasn't at school you automatically assume i was messing with other girls" God i hate my horrible, homophobic mother.
"Shut up Cheryl, you dont know love, your just a loveless, starving anorexic, now get into the house and go to your room, your not getting fed tonight" I hadnt gone all day without eating before.
"But mother..."
"Shut up." She grabbed my arm and towed me through the house and into my room and threw me on my bed. When i crashed on the mattress I felt a tear slowly fall down my cheek. She stormed out of my room and locked me in.
Once I heard that she had gone downstairs I started to have my own pity party in my room, I enjoyed my day with Toni and the serpents, but my spite filled mother came and ruined the day as per usual. Then I remembered that Toni had given me her phone number at the end of the day, so i could call her tommorow so i wouldnt walk to school by myself. i turned on my phone and scrolled through my contacts and eventually found her name and instantly called her.
I let it ring.
and ring
and ring
and ring
and them when i thought she wasnt going to pick up I heard her voice through the speakers.
"Cheryl, is everything ok, why are you calling" I heard worry in her voice. I burst into tears while on the phone. "Oh my god, did someone hurt you, who was it, i swear I'll kill them."
"Toni...no one hurt me"
"Why are you crying" she still had an angry tone
"My mother...she...she" I hesistated "she's...starving me"
"Wait she's what"
"I didnt turn up to school and she thought I was...doing something, so she's not letting me eat, and I'm starving because I didnt eat at lunch and I didnt know who to call you were just the first person to come to mind"
"Why didnt you ring one of your northside friends..?"
"I dont really have any...they all think im a bitch"
"Hey from what i learnt today, you have sass, your not a bitch."
"Toni...really?"
"So...are you hungry" I dont know why she dodged that question.
"Obviously"
"I'll be over in five, get ready to go"
"Wait Toni do.."
The call cut out.
