The Whyte Wyrm

Toni's Pov

As soon as I left Cheryls house I instantly felt bad for her, leaving her alone with such a monster of a human being, but I also knew that the whole time I was only one phone call away from her, one phone call and I would be driving as fast as I could back to her home. I also remembered that within an hour she would be gone from Cheryls life forever, and she wouldnt have to live in fear ever again.

By the time I pulled up to the Whyte Wyrm it was already 1pm, meaning my shift had already started. I really didn't want to go to work today, but I knew that if I didnt then I would live in a trailer my whole life, if I ever wanted a chance of buying a house I needed to work as much as I could as I had no family to help me with money.

I walked into the bar via the back entrance as it led me straight to the bar, which was where I was working today. When I  got inside I took off my jacket and straight away started cleaning up from the mess of last night, there must have been some sort of wild Serpent party due to the fact that there were glasses everywhere and alcohol all over the counters. Part of me was sad because I loved parties, and especially when I with with Sweets and Fangs, who were like brothers to me, but I also was relieved that I missed it. Because instead I got to save Cheryl from a living nightmare, and spend the night with her. During that night we got closer than ever, and we kissed, which would have never happened if I came. I spent the next hour and a half cleaning up while reminiscing on the good events of last night, and I knew I was showing my emotions on my face because both Sweetpea and Fangs came over to me and started to question me.

"Oooh why is our Tiny so happy." Fangs expressed excitedly while hopping onto a barstool. "What did you do last night because you weren't here and I dont think I have ever seen you so happy at work before."
"God Fangs, did you lose all your memory from last night." I remember telling him exactly what I was going to do, I don't understand how he could forget.
"Yep, he probably has, you should have seen how much he was drinking last night, it was insane." I laughed at Sweetpea's comment, he has always been a brotherly figure to me, and no matter what he said, I always found him hilarious. "Anyways, care to tell us whats making you so happy."
"It's nothing, just happy to be back here" It really wasn't nothing.
"I see right through you Tiny, I always have." I gave Sweets a judgemental look.
"Oh my God my Gaydars are going, it's about a girl isn't it." I started to blush and quietly giggle, giving everything away. "Ahhhh Tiny, I remember now! You and Cheryl, I totally ship."
"Oh my god, please be quieter Fangs" I punched him in the elbow jokingly, but it did absolutely no damage to him. He just sat and laughed at me.
"Wait isn't she that girl that came to Southside high for a day, the one that was a bitch to like the whole school, damn Tiny, how the hell did you get her?" Sweetpea questioned me.
"Ok I didnt...get her so to say. We aren't dating or anything, its just I really like her.....and we maybe kissed last night when I got her out of conversion therapy.."
"MY SHIP IS SAILING!" Fangs screamed on the top of his lungs in the bar and everyone stared at him, so I just sat and gave him evils until everyone got back to their buisness. "Sorry...ahem. Anyways I'm offended I thought we were rescuing her together, why didnt you wait for me..."
"I couldn't sleep knowing she was there."
"Awwwwwwe so cute." Fangs cooed, he was the softest serpent I knew.
"I'm proud of you Tiny, but me and Fogarty here will leave you to do your job, before he gets too excited."
"Whaaat....it's cute."
"See ya later Topaz."

I swear to god those two will be the death of me.

Cheryl's Pov

Watching my mother walk out that door for the final time made me so happy, she was the last bit or darkness left in my life, and now she was gone, leaving me alone in the house. Once she had driven away I wanted to try and make the house as neat as I possibly could before Toni came back for the evening, I tried to tidy for as long as I could to take my mind off the fact that she was in a bar with a load of dangerous people right at that moment, but I knew she could defend herself, as small as she was, she was very, very powerful, especially with emotions.

Once the house was reasonably tidy I set up a small movie screen in my bedroom infront of a my bed, I covered it in pillows and blankets and hung lights around the walls, I wanted to make tonight as nice as possible for Toni, as a thank you for all that she had done to me, I still don't think she realises how much it means to me.
I checked the time.

5:40 pm

Toni was supposed to be back in 20 minutes, so I decided to start cooking some pizza's and microwaving some popcorn for us to eat tonight, as I havent eaten in hours and I doubt she would have eaten at the Whyte Wyrm of all places. As a finishing touch I got two Cola's out of the refrigerator, one Cherry and one diet. I took it all back up to my room and set it out, then got changed into some much more comfortable clothes than before.

Just before Toni was due back I got out her polaroid camera from my bag, which I snuk out of her trailer without her knowing, I set it on a timer and sat on my bed. Once I heard the camera shutter I walked back over to see the picture. It was perfect.
