THE LION VIBRATES as we fly through the portal, and I tighten my grip on Shiro and Pidge. After a second or two, the lion emerges and a glorious planet is in front of us. It looks strangely similar to Earth, with green, blue, and blobs of white spread across it's surface.

"Whoa," Lance quips, voicing everyone's opinions. "That was-"

Lance was cut off by Hunk gagging, then leaning to the side while vomiting. I scrunch up my nose in disgust as the smell wafts up.

Hunk pauses briefly, to apologize. "So sorry."

"I'm just surprised it took this long," Pidge says over Hunk's vomiting.

"I don't recognize any of these constellations. We must be a long, long way from Earth," Shiro inquires. I gulp.

"That means we're far from home," I mutter to myself.

"The lion seems to want to go to this planet. I think . . . I think it's going home," Lance observes.

"What about us?" I ask frantically. "When are we going home?"

Shiro places a hand on my shoulder as the lion dips towards the planet. "Don't worry, Mae. Everything will work itself out. Remember what I used to tell you."

"Yeah, yeah," I say, brushing his hand off. I smile at him gratefully, as I repeat his mantra.

Patience yields focus. I just have to be patient, and not focus on Earth right now. I'll get there when I get there. I just hope that it's soon - though it is very lovely to be in the stars right now. As we begin to enter the atmosphere, we all hunch closer the Lance.

"Guys, personal space!" he insists. "Hunk, your breath is killing me."

"Um, is it just me or is anyone else having second thoughts about flying through a mysterious wormhole?" Hunk questions. "Why are we listening to a robotic lion, anyway?"

"It got us away from that alien warship, didn't it?" Lance defends.

"I don't know if you noticed, but we're in an alien warship," Keith fires back.

Lance smirks cockily. "Oh, are you scared?"

"With you at the helm? Terrified," Keith responds.

"All right, knock it off. No one's happy to be in this situation, but we're here now," Shiro says. "If we want to get through this, we've got to do it together."

"So, what do we do?" Pidge asks.

"First, we find out where we're headed," Shiro says. "Lance?"

"I . . . don't know," he mutters. "I'm sorry. The lion's not talking to me anymore. Wait! Wait, wait, wait. Shh! Listen. I think I hear something."

Suddenly, a high pitched noise fills the cockpit starting out quiet, but gradually getting louder and lower pitched. It almost sounds like someone letting the air out of a balloon.

"I think I'm hearing it too," Keith determines.

Hunk's face looks determined to figure it out. "It's - uh - it's kind of a-a high-pitched squeal?"

I glance down at Lance's face adorned with a giant smirk as the smell of what he's done kicks in. Everyone groans, and I slap the back of his head lightly.

"Come on, Lance!" someone shouts.

"But seriously," he insists. "there's a castle up ahead."

I look up and a beautiful castle is ahead of us. It sits on a hill overlooking what seems to be an ocean. The castle is gorgeous, with five pillars sticking out from the ground, one giant, taller one in the middle. It's a futuristic combination of whites, grays, and electric blues. I stare awestruck as the lion approaches it. Sounds of approval and wonderment fill the cockpit as we stare at it.
